Steve Sarkisian will be on the hunt for yet another assistant coach. Terry Joseph will be leaving the Longhorns to take a job with the New Orleans Saints OTF can confirm, first reported by Anwar Richardson. It was announced late last week that Joseph would be making the jump from corners coach to defensive pass game coordinator and safeties coach after Texas brought in Mark Orphey from Rutgers to coach cornerbacks. Joseph played a large role in the development of 2024 Thorpe Award winner Jahdae Barron and helped produce Ryan Watts into an NFL Draft pick as well. View full news story

In the wake of Terry Joseph’s departure for a job with the New Orleans Saints on Monday, Pete Kwiatkowski is the only defensive coach from Steve Sarkisian’s initial staff still with the program. Kwiatkowski deserves every bit of the credit for turning the Longhorn defense around after fielding one of the worst units in program history during his debut season. Texas could have June official visitors from 11 states The Texas Longhorns currently have 30 official visits locked in after Saturday's flurry of wide receiver visit confirmations. The list of official visitors for June is certainly going over 40 (41 last June), and may well end up closer to 55 when all is said and done.
