  1. https://ncaaorg.s3.amazonaws.com/compliance/recruiting/calendar/2023-24/2023-24D1Rec_FBSMFBRecruitingCalendar.pdf looks like dead period starts on June 23rd. Thus, the last weekend for official visits is 21st-23rd weekend in June. That explains why I haven’t seen any visits for the weekend of June 28-30.

  2. This kid can flat out run ... Adonyss Currie ... 6-2.5, 170 with FAT 10.67 last spring ... out of Lancaster (Calif.) High

  3. Team is locked in defensively right now. Finally showing some energy on the road.

  4. This may be a few days d but his article griping about Sarks contract popped up in my feed. Good to know he personally would have give. Him $8 instead of $10…. Compares it to Jumbo’s deal. The two are not remotely the same. Why does this guy go out of his way to talk trash about Texas? Slow news cycle I guess?

  5. Triplets Jordan and Devin Coleman talk Texas Longhorns Cedar Hill, Texas - The Cedar Hill Longhorns have one of the true recruiting rarities. Junior's Isaiah Coleman (6-1.5, 275), Devin Coleman (6-4.5, 320) and Jordan Coleman (6-5, 362) are triplets. And all three have division one offers with Isaiah Coleman having been offered by UTSA and Texas Tech. Jordan Coleman was offered by Texas June 11, 2023 after a stellar camp performance. And Devin Coleman was offered by the Longhorns February 19, 2024 after offensive line coach Kyle Flood made an in person evaluation in January. On Monday, OnTexasFootball stopped by Cedar Hill High to catch up with…

He received his offer from the Longhorns this afternoon from Coach Kenny Baker as the Longhorns continue their pursuit of having a deeper foothold in the SEC territory. View full news

  8. Four-star linebacker target Elijah "Bo" Barnes talks Texas Longhorns Dallas, Texas - One of the top defensive targets on the board for the Texas Longhorns in the 2025 cycle is Dallas (Texas) Skyline High linebacker Elijah "Bo" Barnes. Barnes, 6-2.5 and nearing 230 pounds, was offered by Texas May 10, 2023. Since that time, the DFW area star has been on campus multiple times with the last visit January 20 for Junior Day. OnTexasFootball took in Skyline High track practice Monday and caught up with Barnes after the workout. "Texas is one of those top schools for me," Barnes told OnTexasFootball Monday. "They will be in my top 10, I will say that. Texa…

  9. The Latest on 2026 Four-star Bastrop DL Tiki Hola Made the quick drive over to Bastrop to catch a workout this morning. There is plenty of talent coming up that I will get into later in the week, but 2026 defensive lineman Tiki Hola is the prize at the moment in Texas circles. Hola visited Texas during the January 20 Junior Day, and while Texas had yet to make a hiring at the DL spot, Hola spent a lot of time with Coach Johnny Nansen and came away from the afternoon with rave reviews. "I loved it," Hola said of his time on campus. "I got to meet with Coach Sark and talk to him for a little bit. I got to know him a little bit and he got to know me a little b…

  18. I checked in over the weekend to get an update on portal transfer addition Amari Niblack since his addition to the program. Since joining the program, I have been told Niblack has had a seamless transition. Of course, it never hurts adding a contributing piece from an Alabama program that had been the gold standard under Nick Saban. Niblack played the 2023 season in the 230-235 pound range. Since the conclusion of the season, Niblack has been working to add to his frame. I have been told Niblack will enter the spring season at 245 pounds after adding to his frame since December. The key here is making sure the speed remains, however, you can now expect ther…

  19. The on-field tests at the 2024 NFL Combine begin on Thursday, meaning it is time to make some money for the Texas draft hopefuls in attendance. As we know, there will be 11 Longhorns in Indianapolis this weekend to perform in front of NFL Scouts and Executives. With less than two months from the NFL Draft, the Combine poses as one last master interview opportunity before Pro Days. More specifically, which one drill means the most for each of the Texas combine attendees? *** RB Jonathon Brooks – Interviews Brooks is still recovering from his ACL injury and won't be participating in on-field drills unfortunately. RB Keilan Robinson – 40-yard Dash …

  20. We are 58 days away from the 2024 NFL Draft. I wanted to get to start a series on NFL Draft predictions from 60 days, 30 days, 15 days and 7 days away from the time the Draft takes place to provide an idea of where I believe the Texas Longhorn draft hopefuls will hear their name called. So for the first chapter of this series, I wanted to give my ideas on where the Longhorns will get drafted in my own mock draft edition. This will change, but for now, an idea on best fits as the draft currently sits with the NFL Combine set to take place later this week. *** R1 Pick 16 – Seattle Picks DL Byron Murphy This feels like a perfect match. Seattle has …
