A few predicted winners for both Men's and Women's track failed to score points and the indoor track and field finishes were not as good as expected. I spoke with a pair of coaches who attended a practice recently. Although they're familiar with the team, neither are huge Texas fans. Obviously that means it was tough for them to get into player specific answers, but both had a lot to say from a coaching standpoint. Coach 1 is a head coach and coach 2 is a coordinator. Just got off the phone with OnTexasFootball's Gerry Hamilton who relayed a pair of big humans will be making the trip to Austin this weekend for the Longhorns' recruiting festivities. 2025 Cedar Hill offensive linemen Jordan and Devin Coleman will trek south down i35 to Austin on Saturday. Texas has long been in pursuit of Jordan Coleman, a 6-foot-5 and 310-pound prospect, who received his offer back in June of 2023. Exchanged some messages with Mesquite (Texas) Horn 4-star OT Lamont Rogers, who has an OV to Texas June 14-16. Kyle Flood is working on getting him to Austin in April too. If that happens, it will likely be a day during the week and not weekend. Rogers, 6-7 and 300 pounds, is scheduled to be at LSU this weekend, Tennessee April 13 and Florida State April 20. Duncanville's notorious 4x100m relay team walked out of the event with a first place finish after yet another sub-40 second time this morning.
