  4. Among the big visit from 2025 Lewisville five-star OL Michael Fasusi, Texas also played host to an important trench member from the state of Texas Tuesday morning. 2026 Bastrop DL Tiki Hola was on campus with the Longhorns today. Hola has been a familiar name as of late. The Bastrop three-tech earned an offer from the Texas staff back in June of 2023 and visited campus for the January 20 Junior Day this winter. Texas stopped by in the winter twice to check out the Bears and Hola now gets back to campus for the first time since Kenny Baker's arrival. This is shaping up to be an important 2026 recruitment. 5. Tvondre Sweat and Jonathon Brooks both posted links to the news article about the Lake Travis football players who put peanuts into an allergic player’s locker. Since they’re NFL bound, no downside for them to post their lack of support for the offer to Gus Cordova who was directly involved. Sweat and Brooks have all of my respect for speaking out.

  7. Figured since this is the most anticipated draft for the Longhorns in awhile, we'd have a centralized location for mocks for those that don't get on here much. I'll start with a website I've posted a few times on here that shows each players consensus and overall rank, along with a graph showing there histories, along with the mock drafts they are in. It doesn't have every mock out there but has most of the . Also has past draft years to compare how the mocks ranked players and where they actually went. Ignore the future years as there isn't very many mocks out there. https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/colleges/2024/texas-longhorns Feel free to add an interesti…

  9. I agree with Dawn Staley (South Carolina Women’s Head Basketball Coach). Caitlyn Clark is one of the GOATS of Women’s Basketball. I know she did not win a Championship. Just think of the great players who did win a Championship or Championships like Diana Taurasi, Breanna Stewart, Candace Parker and etc. switches places with Caitlyn Clark on those Iowa teams Caitlyn Clark played for her 4 years. How good would they be as college player and also how many Championships would had won at Iowa? How many Championships would Caitlyn would had won if played at UConn, South Carolina, and etc. ?

  15. The year before Chris Jackson came to Texas we're really bad year for wide receivers at TX, Marion may have been overrated as a wide receiver coach? What Chris Jackson is doing with this group the last two years seems to be amazing. What a hire that doesn't get enough credit. IMO

  16. There was a common theme amongst recruits in attendance at the first scrimmage of the spring yesterday – Texas plays and practices physically. It is a necessity in the world of SEC football and from the first returns, it appears the tone is being set nine practices into the spring. In our conversations with recruits yesterday, it brought up time and time again. *** WR Dakorien Moore – Duncanville (TX) "Definitely the freshman that just got here, Ryan Wingo. Oh my God, I have never seen him play before, but I had been hearing he is a really good player. But he is big and he makes plays for real." WR Kaliq Lockett – Sachse (TX) "My boy, Johnta…

  18. Several Longhorn draft hopefuls are on the move this morning to visit with NFL franchises ahead of this month's NFL Draft. WR Xavier Worthy is in Chicago meeting with the Bears who have picks 1, 9 and 75. A move would have to be made for Worthy to end up there. Former Texas RB Jonathon Brooks had a meeting today with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will be heading up the east coast to meet with the Carolina Panthers. The Bucs hold picks 26, 57, 89 and 92. While the Panthers possess 33, 39, 65 and 101. DT T'Vondre Sweat, who had a rocky weekend, is headed to Tennessee at the moment. The Titans hold picks 7, 38 and 106.

What's the scoop on Tausili Akana??? Akana came into the program in the 2023 class at 19 years old, 6'4" and 200 pounds. I follow him on social media and he's been one of the most active individuals in the Austin community when it comes to volunteering and putting together player-led charity events and even started his charity foundation. His sister is one of the vocal leaders and hardest workers in her third year on the volleyball team, so the Akana's are one of the new "power families" on the 40 Acres. I was really excited to see him throw up the horns during his commitment announcement in Hawaii when all the major recruiting outlets (including Wiltfong hims…
