Longhorns forward Deyona Gaston has entered the portal. Gaston was named the Big 12 'Sixth Man of the Year' after averaging 8.4 points per game and 4.2 rebounds per game this season. She will have two years of eligibility remaining due to her COVID year. A Texas native, Gaston originally committed to Vic Schaefer at Mississippi State before following him to the University of Texas.

With Fl St, etc. Trying to Escape the ACC and the astronomical amount of $$ being discussed to leave, does anyone have a definitive number that UT had to cut a check for? I understand UT was in the last year of GOR and ACC teams still have a decade and half to go on theirs. Was it deducted from revenue generated (Playoffs, Moving Games, etc.) Any Idea what the final number was?
