Spruce Creek athletic 2025 defensive lineman Derry Norris tells OnTexasFootball that he will be making an unofficial visit to Texas for the spring game this weekend. I was thinking it might be fun to pretend Sark gave Quinn & Arch the opportunity to pick their players at the skill positions. For this exercise they each get to pick 3 RBs, 3 TEs & 4WRs. Quinn picks 1st, Arch gets the next 2 & they alternate after that. While our recruiting has been overall fantastic, there have been some concerns that perhaps we are not hitting on as many top 10 state prospects as we could from some people, and I was wondering is this really a problem. This is my opinion only. Was curious what everyone else's thoughts were. What does Texas have to do for continued success both this season and beyond? I believe culture and want to are paramount. Sark is a first rate coach and recruiter so player ability should be an expectation. I am not sold on PK to this point. I believe he is an above average DC but not sure he's a championship level coach. Case and point lack of aggressiveness with DBs until late in the season last year or a month of prep for U Dub and still didn't have the creativeness to get pressure on Penix. Dakorien Moore visit update There were some reports that Duncanville High 5-star WR and LSU pledge Dakorien Moore was going to visit Ohio State Saturday. That will not happen. Moore is running in the Area track meet in Waco today and tomorrow. The running events that Moore is competing in don't start until 5:30 p.m. today. As far as the Texas spring game goes April 20 ... Moore will not be attending as OTF has been reporting. He has the Regional track meet in Austin Friday-Saturday with running events Saturday afternoon. We shall see if he spends any time on campus at Texas Sunday, the 21st.
