Seems to me, that mobile, running QB’s are the down fall to all SEC defensive front 7’s. with this in mind - I’m worried about our last 4 games. Watching sec games today , showed me what it takes to win in this league. I hope I’m proved wrong!!! Hook’em!!!!!!! ,

  5. The SEC Race: Potential knockout games this weekend Five teams legitimately remain in the race to advance to the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta December 7. That is barring a number of upsets that change the course, to be clear. This weekend, it's Georgia on the road and LSU at home with difficult contests that could shift the conference race. The five teams with one loss are Georgia, Texas, Texas A&M, Tennessee and LSU. Four of the contenders play each other later in the month, but there are still tough games before the head-to-head battles to get to Atlanta take place. OnTexasFootball provides a run down of the five teams schedules to start th…

  6. Pretty significant Friday news drop. The SEC will begin punishing head coaches if it is determined a player or team is ‘feigning’ injuries to create timeouts. Of course, this has been quite the conversation surrounding Ole Miss this season and throughout much of the conference as well. Perhaps not as much in Texas circles, but it will certainly have lasting impacts around the conference. On first infraction, a head coach will be fined $50,000. A second infraction will be a fine of $100,000. And a third could result in a suspension.

  7. Note on 2025 CB Graceson Littleton The Texas Longhorns have entered the race for 2025 4-star CB Graceson Littleton (Tampa, Fla./Wiregrass). Littleton backed off his pledge to Clemson today, and will immediately head to Michigan this weekend for an official visit. The Longhorns also extended an offer today. The Texas Longhorns are also working to get the 6-foot, 175-pounder on campus in November. The staff is looking at both November 9 for the Florida game and November 23 for the Kentucky game as possibilities. Littleton's NIL agent is Rosenhaus Sports, who also represents Texas WR commit Jaime Ffrench (Jacksonville, Fla./Mandarin). The Texas …

I just don't see Ewers fixing all of the problems he has right now. He's failing at fundamentals. His head isn't right and that shows in his game. His feet are awful. He can't function in a dirty pocket and when it's clean he's seeing ghosts. I think Manning will be forced to take over after a dismal first quarter. (At lest I hope Sark doesn't leave Quinn in longer than that if he's a mess.) Either way, anxious to see how they bounce back from a sound defeat.

  9. If we come to a 3 way tie between 11-1 UGA, 11-1 Texas and 10-2 TAMU, the dumb SEC three way tiebreaker rules will boil down to cumulative conference win percentage of the tied teams’ conference opponents. Even if we have the head to head over TAMU. Our conference opponents are significantly weaker in wins than UGA and TAMU, so I highly doubt we stand a chance if it comes to this tiebreaker. Between UGA and TAMU, it will essentially come down to unique opponents between the two: Tennessee+Bama+Ole Miss+Kentucky for UGA vs LSU+Mizzou+Arkansas+SC for TAMU. Likely 18 wins for UGA’s slate: 6-2 Tennessee, 6-2 Bama, 5-3 Ole Miss, 1-7 Kentucky Likely 18…

  11. With Texas sitting strong at 7-1 and still in the heat of the season, it's not too early to consider how the portal might shape our roster for 2025. With most of our starting O-line likely to be drafted, depth needed at cornerback, and potential gaps at linebacker, which positions should we target?

  21. Texas 2025 WR commit Jaime Ffrench will be honored by the Navy All-American Bowl game this afternoon at Mandarin High. As part of the Road to the Dome tour, the Navy (formerly Army) All-American Bowl game will represent Ffrench with his game jersey in front of students and faculty at Mandarin this afternoon. Really cool honor for the five-star wide receiver. The annual East vs. West matchup will take place inside the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, January 11, 2025, live on NBC and Peacock.
