1) I think they can kick the FG with zeroes on the clock 2) the defense is back significantly compared to a normal FG, so you can do a low trajectory kick without worrying about it being blocked

In addition to the other issues mentioned, I personally like Muschamp's attacking style over PK's bend don't break (which admittedly was probably best bend don't break defense I've ever seen in Austin). I loved all of the goal line stands in the PK era. But I would have preferred more 3 and outs!

I agree with you. But his reputation has taken a hit from mismanaging the Bama transition. That was just too great of a switch from coaching philosophies from Saban to DeBoer. That's like going from Soviet Russia to telly tubby land. Extreme coach's coach to extreme player's coach. Defense minded vs offense minded. There was bound to be turbulence. If he can't right the ship this year, he will fall out of the top 10 entirely and people will count his success at UW as luck
