Corey & I received an interesting note this a.m. The word is, one of the schools involved with 5-star OL Solomon Thomas (FSU commit) and 5-star WR Jaime Ffrench (Texas commit) thinks there's a better than 50-50 chance both of those players ultimately will land with the Gators. A lot of good games this weekend, starting with (rankings are according to Pomeroy): 11/15 #10 Alabama @ #12 Purdue Interesting match-up in that Oats likes his offense to play fast and take a lot of threes, while Painter makes his guys work on defense to make possessions drag out and chase people off the arc. Daniel Jacobsen, Purdue's new 7'4" center, is probably out for the year with a fractured tibia he suffered in the first minute of their second game. We’ve all heard or probably do someone of these on Gameday - same shirt, lucky chair, change rooms to change momentum., but what are your personal superstitions. For me it’s flipping my Longhorn ring around of things aren’t going well, and spinning the same ring on key plays. you also cannot move if things are going well; and if you do move, you have to get in the same position when you get back. Kaliq Lockett's high school career came to end with Sachse's 50-17 loss to Rockwall High. Lockett caught 2 passes for 35 yards in the loss. He finished the 2024 season with 47 receptions for 625 yards and 7 TD's in 11 games. Dian Bell led American Heritage to a 40-7 win over Jensen Beach. Auburn climbed into the rankings after it won its first three conference matches, all at home and including a 3-2 win over Kentucky, but it is 1-8 over its last 9 matches. The last time we had a week+ layoff, we resumed with consecutive losses to Missouri and OU, so let's not see a repeat of that. I hate the team website's "previews." They never include information about players' status for the upcoming games or news about why they might have missed previous games. I would really like to know why Swindle and Kahahawai played so little in the last 2 matches.

Spoke with some sources regarding Lubbock Monterey’s Aaliyah Chavez and where things stand on National Signing Day. OnTexasFootball spoke with a source close to Texas 4-star++ safety commit Zelus Hicks (Carrollton, Ga./High). Hicks was on campus at Tennessee and Georgia Tech the last two weekends. This weekend, the 6-1, 185-pound safety will make an OV to Florida. The following weekend will be his OV to Texas for the Kentucky game.

Ignorant question since I haven't frequented the OG boards as a subscriber... Apologies if this is against rules; I couldn't find anything on this looking around the site.
