Do y’all think Sark exhibited some hubris coming into this game? Spent time on Gameday, sat with Pat McAfee and gave him a FAFO tank top, etc. Didn’t sit right with me before the game and it sure does piss me off after it. Felt like rat poison personified.

In my honest opinion, Quinn Ewers doesn't seem like he's a leader in that locker room. Sark keeps saying this is Quinn's team, okay, I get that, but Quinn needs to be outspoken. Forget about being a QB for once; be a leader, speak up. I was expecting to see Quinn on the sideline at least showing some emotion that they are losing badly at the moment. I didn't see any of it. I remember Sark got on Arch Manning's case for little mistakes he made. Why not get on Quinn's case too? leadership is vital for any organization or team, encompassing the guidance, inspiration, and motivation of others towards a shared objective. Effective leaders are characterized by clear communicati…

Where does Texas stand with Justus Terry now. I’ve heard they made a big jump… and I’ve heard they are basically out. I think we have a good shot and I would love to get him, he looks amazing. What have you all been hearing?? 🐂🤘

Even with the flat offense, did the Texas defense and atmosphere in and around Austin and at the stadium leave a good impression on the croots that were there or is the jury still out

  10. If we had a healthy Cedric Baxter Saturday night, do you think the outcome of the game would have been different? Maybe we still would have loss the game, but maybe the game would not have gotten away from us so fast. With Quinn struggling the way he was, would having that 5 star running back to hand off to have been the answer? A heavy dose of down hill running. I know Sark likes to set up the run with the pass, but just wondering if having Cedric healthy would have made a difference. Wisner runs hard but there is a difference in Baxter and Wisner’s abilities. Blue is super fast, but he is not the most reliable back as far as holding onto the ball, plus he is n…

  12. Loganville (Ga.) Grayson High 4-star+ DL Joseph Mbatchou has de-committed from Florida. The 6-4.5, 275-pounder made an official visit to Texas over the weekend. Texas is battling USC and potentially Georgia for the first-year player with a very high ceiling.

This morning, Gerry used the phrase "culture games" a couple times in response to a super chat I submitted. I completely agree. This is emblematic of what Sark has built over the past 3.5 years. There are a ton of great leaders on the field this season and I am confident we can still achieve our goals considering we still mostly control our own destiny. We need to remember this: we were 3-4 plays away from making this an entirely different game. That is to say: this loss was not as bad as it seems, which is typical upon a rewatch. Of course there are things that need to be addressed, as there is after every game. Reason this is posted is because there ha…

  17. I'm watching all this nonsense from criminal fans saying now that they've fired Littrell, they can hire any OC in the country they want. They're nuts. No one with a brain in their head is willing to take that job. This is Venables' fault. He pushed out Gabriel. He went to Arnold. He then went to Hawkins. He obviously doesn't know what he's doing. The criminals have no domestic recruiting base. They don't have as much money to pay top recruits as the top thirty programs in the nation now that paying is legal. They're getting what they deserve.

  19. IF Texas finishes with one SEC loss, LSU is the team to watch that Texas does not control its destiny against. We need LSU to lose to TAMU, Florida, Vanderbilt or OU. TAMU winning that game this week seems like the best hope there. - A one loss winner of the UGA-Tennessee game has the tiebreaker on Texas. - A one loss Texas obviously has the tiebreaker on the loser of the UGA-Tennessee game. - Texas plays TAMU and Vanderbilt, so obviously controls its own destiny there. -Texas would have tiebreaker over Mizzou (TAMU win compared to Mizzou loss) - the Kicker: if LSU only loses to Alabama, the tiebreaker with one loss Texas would come down to cum…

I was at the game and wanted to watch it back. A lot of the blame has been put on Quinn. He didn’t play great and I have no excuses there. But the drop by Wisner and the hold on Roberson on Goldens kick return were MASSIVE momentum killers. Both would have set Texas up in the red zone at a minimum. The Roberson hold was 20 yards from the play and had no effect on the outcome. No guarantees but if you get points out of those 2 drives, things could have played out a bit differently. There are others worth mentioning but those 2 were killers.

  21. Looked over UGA’s previous schedules going back to before the AP poll era. I don’t think they’ve ever (EVER) played an away game at AP #1. On the Texas side, this is the first time Texas has hosted a Top 5 matchup as #1 since 1970 (vs #4 Arkansas). First time ever at night (1970 Arkansas game was an afternoon kick according to Wikipedia). So we can say this is the first time #1 Texas has ever hosted a Top 5 matchup at night in prime time. People have pointed and will point to the 2006 game against Ohio State (1v2) as a high profile game, but in my opinion that game doesn’t stack up to this game vs UGA or the 1970 Arkansas game. 2006 Texas was not a tr…

  22. So the game yesterday was not the outcome we would have liked, but let's be honest Georgia is still Georgia. My concern is knowing we have one of the best field goal kickers in college football and yet we chose to not get points on those 4th downs. Last I checked, 3 is more than 0. If we'd kicked field goals instead of being greedy, with an unproductive offense, the game would have been winnable. Defense held them to 7 the second half. If we kick on four of the five 4th downs, now we've added 12 more points. I just didn't understand the reasoning. But, on to Vandy. Hookem!!!!

  23. 5-star LB Tyler Atkinson post visit update The Grayson (Ga.) High 2026 5-star linebacker had a tremendous visit to Texas the last two days. Atkinson spent a considerable amount of 1-on-1 time with Johnny Nansen despite Texas having a huge game. Atkinson, 6-3 and 210, also spent time talking with Longhorn legend Derrick Johnson. They talked about being a moveable chess piece at the LB position, and how he could do that at Texas. Atkinson and family told OTF that they were impressed with the Texas defense. The fight Texas showed impressed. The city of Austin also has a real appeal for the Atlanta area 5-star in 2026. OTF expects Atkinson to come back fo…

In my opinion this tells me all I need to know about Quinn…. Team loves him. Has full trust in him. Needs to have a good rebound and build that confidence next week in another top 25. Everything is still out there. https://x.com/noah_gross27/status/1848102045573644627/mediaViewer?currentTweet=1848102045573644627&currentTweetUser=noah_gross27
