There has been plenty of conversation about the weather and what is expected this weekend from Mother Nature in The Swamp. According to AccuWeather, precipitation is very likely. Playing in wet conditions obviously isn't ideal for the passing game, but perhaps the most concerning aspect of this forecast is wind gusts pushing north of 25 mph. Cloudy, windy and wet looks like the full game forecast. Pretty good reason as to why the total for this game is 41.5.

We have a great defense but they will get scored on, especially if the offense can't sustain drives or generate turnovers. Sark projects confidence put I am skeptical. I think the OL will be the limiting factor. Sark needs to scheme to minimize that weakness, otherwise he will lose his skill positions including Arch.

With Emmett Mosley V hopefully making his Texas debut on Saturday, when the ninth-ranked Longhorns travel to the Swamp to face Florida (2:30 p.m., ESPN), and the Gators expected to have true freshman Dallas Wilson available for the first time this season, Arch Manning and DJ Lagway could get some much-needed perimeter weaponry for their respective offenses. If Mosley and Wilson are on the field, the wide receivers might do more than beef up the Texas (3-1) and Florida (1-3, 0-1 SEC) passing games. Stressing the opposing defense enough to give the running game a boost could be the difference between winning and losing, especially if the weather gets sloppy and the gro…

This is actually really good, funny because of Spurrier over the years and informative for those that don't know the history. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/46379254/haters-arch-manning-texas-longhorns-florida-gators

Evening OTF - I have two tickets to the game on Saturday that I’m unable to use. They are Longhorn Foundation tickets so will be in the visitors section. Happy to part with them at face value ($225/ea.). Let me know if anyone wants them. Thanks!

We will see an official statement tonight when Texas drops its injury availability report through the SEC, but wanted to drop some intel. RB Quintrevion Wisner has been moving well in practice I have learned. Wisner has not seen action since the season opener against Ohio State, but the expectation is he sees the field in a healthy amount come Saturday. As for RB CJ Baxter, there remains some room for increased usage coming off of his injury sustained against UTEP. I lean towards doubtful with the 3rd year running back, who would be playing in his home state this weekend. The injury report should give a deeper idea of what Baxter's availability will be, b…

Not sure if this is allowed. If not, slap my hand and put me in the penalty box. I've sold tickets before on TOS and can be vouched for. The 4 seats are together in Section 14. Row 23. $500 per. I saw very, very similar seats going for $700 - $1000 per online ticket brokers. Our general practice with our tickets has always been to (a) ask for less than the brokers, (b) find someone who will enjoy being at the game, and (c) specifically for this game; ensure Longhorns are in these seats. Send me a DM if interested.

When scouting the Florida defense everyone is so worried about are we looking at numbers or watching plays? The Florida defense that's been on display is NOT the defense we're going to see in terms of scheme or personnel. They lack the depth they had going into the season, which is why a game by game is the best approach to take. While the numbers look good there are so many players and positions to attack. Florida likes to keep their safeties back to limit explosives. Well with their best DL in street clothes and youth at both linebackers, if Sark decides he wants to get back to himself and run his counters and misdirection big plays are there for the taking. The weakest …
