I’m leaving for Florida later today. If you’re headed to Gainesville, there are a couple of places I’ll be with other Longhorns this weekend. On Friday morning, I’m going to do the show somewhere near the UF campus/stadium. In the afternoon, the Livestream from Spurrier’s Bar & Grill. For happy hour on Friday, we’re looking at a couple of different places and waiting on a return call. I’ll reply to this thread as soon as I confirm. Texas commitment injury update OnTexasFootball stopped by Shadow Creek High earlier this week to check on 4-star wide receiver commit Chris Stewart. Stewart was not at practice the day I stopped by. He was at a shoulder doctor getting looked at. The 6-foot, 175-pounder injured his shoulder in the season opener August 29, took a little time off, and came back against Manvel High September 19. Since that time, the injury has flared back up. The next few games are in doubt for the Houston area senior. No word on if a shoulder procedure will be needed, as of Thursday afternoon.
