What is everyone's thoughts on penalties? Being a highly penalized team just seems to be a feature under Sark. What can be done to fix this moving forward, can it be fixed? Vic Schaefer and Texas WBB hosted a pair of five-star prospects for official visits on Saturday for the game against Sam Houston State. 2026 Frisco (Texas) Liberty forward Jacy Abii was on campus to watch the Longhorns under the lights at DKR. Abii, a 6-foot-3-inch forward, is the No. 10 player in the country per the 247Sports Composite ranking. Abii dropped a top five on August 5th of UCLA, Tennessee, LSU, Notre Dame and the Longhorns. 3 Stars of the Game in the 55–0 Win *** *** Star #1: QB Arch Manning I don't care the opponent, you complete 18-21 passing, eclipse 300 yards passing and find the end zone five total times, you have a solid day. Encouraging stuff here. On the rewatch, there is plenty that Brooks will need to clean up, but that of course is to be expected in a true freshman's first time seeing the field. Yet often you see him climbing with success to the second level. Brooks moving as well as he does at his size is such a weapon for the Horns. This was an awesome rep here.

Freshman CB Graceson Littleton saw 9 snaps at outside cornerback on Saturday vs. Sam Houston State. Across the first three weeks of the season, Littleton had seen just two total snaps as an outside corner, and both came due to formation while he was on the field at STAR. Texas was limited with its cornerback availability on Saturday, but this is notable for Littleton's future with the Texas defense, as well as for the overall outlook of the Texas secondary for 2025.

I kept my eyes on the offensive line last night and something popped up in my mind. Some of the Olineman seemed a little short in the torso and long in the legs. Maybe I'm just seeing things but when Cambell was running down the sidelines on a run play I noticed that he doesn't have that typical low center of gravity that's considered ideal for interior guys.
