We will see an official statement tonight when Texas drops its injury availability report through the SEC, but wanted to drop some intel.

RB Quintrevion Wisner has been moving well in practice I have learned. Wisner has not seen action since the season opener against Ohio State, but the expectation is he sees the field in a healthy amount come Saturday.

As for RB CJ Baxter, there remains some room for increased usage coming off of his injury sustained against UTEP.

I lean towards doubtful with the 3rd year running back, who would be playing in his home state this weekend. The injury report should give a deeper idea of what Baxter's availability will be, but as of Wednesday afternoon, I am not expecting a ton.

Baxter’s blocking will be missed. He knows all of his assignments and, imo, is by far the best blocker. Hoping the young backs figure it out! 🤘🏻

Would agree all around.

Wisner needs to make it through the game without getting dinged up.  The RB and WR room rotating triage situation needs to stop.

A healthy Wisner is VERY good news.  We need to control possession in this game.  Make Florida make mistakes.

Weird, it seems like we were told for weeks CJ would be back for this game.  Was there a setback?

Baxter shouldnt be rushed back imo. They really need to take it slow.

Absolutely correct. Hammys tie into the ligaments of the knee down to the feet. It sucks he misses going back to Florida for a game but patience is a virtue. He needs to be 100% with his hamstring recovery. Does OTF know if his knee surgery was a cadaver graft or did they use his own hamstring graft?
