After the season, we took time to reflect on this year, the future of Texas Soccer and where the program is headed. Following thoughtful discussion, we think it is in the best interest of The University of Texas to move in a new direction. Coach Kelly has led this program in a first-class manner and has poured tremendous energy and dedication into our student-athletes and staff over the past 14 seasons. We are grateful for all she has accomplished and for the professionalism, character and pride she has consistently demonstrated. We sincerely thank Coach Kelly for her service to Texas Soccer and to our University, and we wish her all the best in the future." Statemen…

AUSTIN, Texas — Arch Manning will lead Texas into the 2025 regular-season finale against Texas A&M on Friday (6:30 p.m., ABC), looking to extend the best stretch of football he’s played in his first full season as QB1 for the Longhorns. The career-high 389 yards Manning threw for and six touchdowns he accounted for (he and Bobby Layne as the only quarterbacks in school history to throw for, rush for and catch a touchdown in a single game) in Saturday’s 52-37 win over Arkansas earned him a Manning Award Star of the Week nod, a spot on the Davey O’Brien Award’s “Great 8” list and recognition as the Associated Press National Player of the Week. Manning’s historic af…

2026 Georgetown OL Kaden Scherer Flips to Texas *** Bang! Two days, two commits for the Texas Longhorns, both of which coming out of Georgetown High! Kaden Scherer becomes the latest to join the Texas 2026 class and it comes on the heels of an official visit over the weekend with the Horns. Scherer, a 6-foot-7, 285-pound offensive line, said he grew up rooting and watching the Longhorns as a kid in Georgetown and when the offer came in, it was a very big deal for him. Texas adds another offensive lineman to the class. Scherer told me last week Texas was pitching both tackle and guard to him, wanting to see how he would develop and progress ph…

This where we are headed in college sports, currently. At least in basketball. See if any baseball minor leaguers with eligibility on their NCAA clock try and make the move to college for NIL cash. Thierry Darlan eligible this season for Santa Clara. Averaged 11 points and six rebounds in the G-league. Santa Clara now has a 18-20 and 10-11 guy in college this season. A 6-7.5 guard doing it. https://frontofficesports.com/santa-clara-thierry-darlan-g-league/ Louisville signed G-league PG London Johnson He played 30 games in the G-league, a two year contract worth 1.1 million https://www.si.com/college/louisville/football/nba-g-league-guard-commi…

Check out the Nyier Daniels situation. He was the OL from Sydir Mitchell’s school that we were in on I’m fairly certain. I think we ended up second there to Georgia so they saved us again! Thanks Kirby and Bulldog Collective!

Hey guys! I am very excited cause I’m heading out to Austin for the first time this upcoming weekend for the Arkansas game. I’ll be up there for a few days and know there is a lot of dedicated fans and alumni on this site so I thought I would send this out, and ask for any cool suggestions or tips to make this trip the best. This is probably the only time I’ll ever be down unless obviously end up attending so I just want to make it the best I can. My dad went there but it’s been a bit so thought I would send a lil thing out on here. Thanks!! @Gerry Hamilton @Bobby Burton @CJ Vogel

Just my weekly plug for The Film Guy. Agreed with almost everything he had to say. Appreciate that he is one of the few media members that has been able to objectively cover Arch this season, and always backs up praise or criticism with actual film. https://youtu.be/HOvtxWz_TDI?si=i92HnJScPpRADXN_

3 Stars of the Game vs. Arkansas *** Star No. 1: QB Arch Manning Without question, the Texas quarterback gets the nod for player of the game. This is also the third time in four weeks where Manning was my player of the game. Manning collected six total touchdowns and threw for a career high 389 passing yards as the offense had one of its best days of the year. Star No. 2: WR DeAndre Moore Three receptions, three touchdowns for DeAndre Moore. Add 76 yards to the tally as well, and that is a heck of a day. Whether it was winning in one-on-ones, or getting open in the scramble drill, Moore had a heck of a day. Star No.…
