Texas has lost a commit in the 2026 class. Melissa OL Max Wright has announced his commitment to SMU. Wright had been on SMU's campus a couple of times this season, and now makes the decision public.

Ethan Burke (24/7 3 star) - He was everywhere. Harassing Reed, blocking field goals, stealing undershirts to save TDs, setting the edge (something aggie couldn't do) Tre Wisner (composite 3 star) - What patience he displayed. He knew when to slow down, when to cut, when to burst, when to lower his head and fight......what a rivalry killer he is. Trevor Goosby (24/7 3 star) - Casius who? You might not have noticed him all night...........but that's kind of my point. Recruits, Current Commits and young players currently on the team: Pay attention to what happens when you stick around.

The highest viewer total all season for a game. I don't think Fox or any network wants to lose those types of games going forward. That's ultimately what's at stake in the decision for Texas or any other team in SEC or Big 10 scheduling non conference games going forward. Millions of viewers, millions of ad dollars. Losing games like that will have a significant effect on the P&L for a network.

View from the Cheap Seats-A&M How sweet it is Sark and TEXAS record their signature win of the Sark Era, defeating #3 ranked Aggie in front of a raucous DKR crowd. And for the 2nd time in their 2-year SEC history, TEXAS defeated all 3 of it’s traditional rivals, OU, Arkansas and A&M in the same year. To add more icing to the cake, what is absolutely glorious is that in both years the Horns end the season knocking Lil Brother out of an SEC title berth. Georgia is one half of the bracket while Bama needs to beat Auburn otherwise Ole Miss sneaks in and the Ags consolation prize is a Top 8 playoff seed. What can be b…

Texas is 11th in the country in turnover margin at +10; a&m is 95th at -3; Texas averages +1.5 turnovers at home while a&m is -0.3 on the road. I am hoping that equates to Texas being at least +1 on Friday.

Florida played a close 4 quarter game against every one of their SEC opponents that will be in the CFP (TAMU, UGA, Ole Miss). Difference for those 3 is none of them were in the swamp. Also didn’t help not having our starting CB

Will we see Anthony Hill again in a Texas uniform? If we make the playoffs, maybe? Bowl game?

The committee and national pundits are telling you with a straight face its better to beat Florida and lose to OU than the other way around. Absurd.

I had in-laws over watching the game and I wasn’t in my rightful seat the first half. At halftime, I showered to wash off the bad juju, put on my UT ring, and kicked “pa pa” out of my seat, telling him when need to switch this up. After the game, pa pa, who fell in and out of sleep only to be awaken when I screamed in excitement, told me to never lose that ring or sell the chair.

CDC needs to put pressure on Sark to give play calling and hire a real offensive coordinator. Texas should have at least attempted a field goal right before halftime but bad play calling knocked them out of field position. Sark has too much responsibility on his plate

Texas DID NOT FOLD. Penn State got hit in the mouth and folded. Clemson got hit in the mouth and folded. LSU got hit in the mouth and folded. Tonight, TAMU got hit in the mouth (FOR THE FIRST REAL TIME THIS SEASON) and folded. The list goes on and on. We were in literally every game this season. This team fought. We came up short in three games. They heard all the crap talk. We came up huge in three games (two of which were very special). This is what Texas’ defining feature should be. Through thick in thin, never fold. This team has not REALLY let me down one time in three years now. Almost all of our losses in that span have been to very good teams.…

We have only accomplished this 27 times in our history, including last year. Sark & Co. have an opportunity to complete this task again. Beating our three historic rivals is relatively unique in our storied history. Darrell Royal accomplished this 8 times, Dana Bible 7 times, Fred Akers twice, and Mack Brown once. This one today is about pride, history, and the state of Texas. ———— 1903: HC Ralph Hutchison (5-1-2) 1906: HC H. R. Schenker (9-1) 1907: HC W. E. Metzenthin (6-1-1) 1916: HC Eugene Van Gent (7-2, 6-1) SWC Champion 1932: HC Clyde Littlefield (8-2, 5-1) 1934: HC Jack Chevigny (7-2-1, 4-1-1) 1940: HC Dana …

Texas vs. Texas A&M November 28, 2025 Austin, Texas *** Can you believe it is already the final week of the season? Pretty wild. But anyways – It’s time! Texas and Texas A&M square off in Austin for the first time in 15 years. The Longhorns are looking to keep Playoff hopes alive while ruining the Aggies’ perfect season. *** 1st Quarter Sarkisian has been setting up the Wingo screen pass for a month+. I can’t believe he actually tried it. What a snag by Mosley to move the chains and drive alive. Texas is living in third and long, which is not ideal start. And yep, pressure gets home from A&M, forces an errant …

Lots of back and forth about the 3 stars in this class, particularly as the end to the class. We know that the coaches have had some pretty big hits on 3 stars in the last few years. For example: 2024 (11 3-stars, includes punter) - Ty-Anthony Smith, Parker Livingstone, Alex January 2023 (9 3-stars) - Tre Wisner, Trevor Goosby 2021 (11 3-stars includes kicker and long snapper) - Cole Hutson, Ethan Burke, Cam Williams, Connor Robertson According to the 247 composite, we have 10 currently (includes K, P, and LS). In comparison: #1 USC (13), #2 Georgia (8), #3 Bama (9), #4 ND (4), #5 Oregon (3). .. also #9 Aggy (only 3 with a kicker include…
