AUSTIN, Texas — Thirty current or former University of Texas athletes have earned spots on their home countries' Olympic teams, and seven coaches with ties to UT Athletics also will participate in the upcoming Olympic Games. The 30 athletes competing sets a record for the largest delegation that The University of Texas has sent to an Olympics, topping the previous best of 29 athletes at the 2020 Tokyo Games. The 2024 Summer Olympic Games will be held July 26-August 11 in Paris, France. Still waiting on a video board to be implemented after some renovations to DKR this offseason. Texas has been making steady improvements to the stadium since the offseason including video board improvements across the facades of the upper decks. A quick update from the outside of the stadium shows the video board is still being worked on. The video board should connect all the way across the upper scoreboard, whereas previously there was about a 15-foot shortage on each side.

2025 Mansfield Timberview DB Nathan Tilmon has dropped his final three ahead of his upcoming decision. Tilmon took an official visit to Texas during June 18–20. I feel like all the sites seem to be making a lot of excuses for bad recruiting Oregon is not outspending Texas they are out recruiting them. Ohio St is not out spending them neither is Bama, Georgia, or any of the other programs currently ahead of them in recruiting. At some point we have to stop making excuses and just admit we are getting embarrassed. Sark needs to make some adjustments plain and simple
