  1. Will wait for official word, but one would have to say health related in some capacity

  2. Join us for Coffee and Football at 8:10 AM, as we talk the latest Texas news, recruiting and much more. We’ll also be taking your questions!

  3. 2 Texas vs Georgia Tickets for Sale Section 15, Row 34, Seats 39 & 40 with Padded Seatbacks. These are 2 of our 6 season tickets, my family will be sitting in the other 4 so want them to go Longhorns only. Would rather sell here to Longhorns than on the ticket sites to minimize fees for all parties. $1,500 for the pair. Hook 'Em

Saturday is almost here. This is going to be the toughest opponent that Texas has faced all season. By far. Both teams are very capable of scoring with good offenses. This could be reminiscent of the Oregon, Ohio State game. I think turnovers and time of possession determine the winner of this game. The defense needs to be trying to strip the ball each time Georgia has it. Our run game will be extremely important as to gobble up clock while marching down the field. I think Texas has the edge. The home field advantage should be an immense help. Crowd noise will definitely be a factor. It's going to be one for the history books, that's for sure.

  5. Excellent article from ESPN about the great mascot stand off in the Sugar Bowl. I didn't know Uga had bitten someone at an Auburn game, or that Jordan Shipley ran into Bevo at the end of a punt return against Tech for a TD, or that Bevo took a dump on the Nebraska logo - "Brennes [Silver Spurs]: We had a moment walking Bevo off the field against Nebraska in the Big 12 championship game, and he defecated on the word "Nebraska" when we were walking him off." Photo to prove it. The only thing they gloss over is the photographer who got horns down in the back - everyone, including the AAS photog, is laughing about it in the article but he later filed a lawsuit asking for…

  6. Just a heads up. Texas has moved to a 5-point favorite over Georgia on BetMGM and most books in the market. Initial line opened up at three and has moved two full points in Texas’ favor.

  7. Retiring immediately. Hope it isn’t health related - but if not, there has to be a scandal, etc.

Come out and meet Texas kicker Bert Auburn tonight from 6-7pm. He’ll be doing an autograph signing and meet and greet at the Hole in the Wall. Gerry, Rod and I will also be there for a live edition of The Winning Drive. Come join us if you can.

  10. @CJ Vogel just mentioned Sam Ehlinger as a potential guest picker. I would love to see it, but the Colts play the Dolphins on Sunday, and that might be hard to make scheduling work. I say Scottie Scheffler, Willie or Earl!

  11. Former Texas RB Jonathon Brooks is being designated to make his NFL Debut for the Carolina Panthers. Brooks suffered a torn ACL last year against TCU and has been waiting for his return to the field since then. Now, Brooks is able to return to practice for the first time as a pro.

  14. Peach State 4-star to know Texas is in contact and targeting 2026 4-star++ WR Aaron Gregory (Douglasville, Ga./Douglas County). Gregory told OTF tonight that he won't be in Austin this weekend, but Texas is working to get him to campus. He wants to get on campus. Gregory, 6-1.5 and 175-pounds, has 45 offers. The SEC offers are: Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Texas A&M. http://www.hudl.com/v/2QAYGz

Didn’t you guys recommend parking on Dean Keaton? How much before the game to snag a spot? Also, where/when is OTF on game day?

I keep hearing this is a statement game for the Longhorns; I agree however I don't want it to get lost that it's also a statement game for Georgia. Texas had better come out ready to play regardless of the line because Georgia is talented and have a lot to prove. They have set the tone for college ball the last half decade and I'd venture a guess they don't like being looked at as the 3rd or 4th in the SEC. Texas is going to get Georgia's best shot. To be the best you gotta beat the best. That's what great teams do. Hook Em'

  17. I'll go year by year but I'm also only listing top 10 matchups for this. Assuming 2024 Georgia/Texas being a 1/2 matchup or a top 5 matchup that will be the most recent. 2019: 9 Texas vs 6 LSU 2008: 1 Texas vs 6 Oklahoma St 2007: 2 Texas vs 1 Ohio St 2005: 2 Texas vs 10 Texas Tech 1996: 6 Texas vs 9 Notre Dame 1980: 10 Texas vs 6 Arkansas 1978: 8 Texas vs 3 Arkansas 1970: 1 Texas vs 4 Arkansas 1964: 1 Texas vs 8 Arkansas 1962: 1 Texas vs 7 Arkansas 1950: 7 Texas vs 1 SMU 1949: 10 Texas vs 9 Rice Once you get to the early 1930s and 1920s it gets harder to find information but the above according to my quick research are the bi…

  19. I wanted to provide an update at the Points Per Drive chart for SEC teams through week seven. Of course, Texas and Georgia headline the weekend's slate, but Tennessee and Alabama provide a heck of a ballgame to look forward to as well. Some key takeaways: – Oklahoma has the worst offense in the SEC. – Miss State has a bottom five offense in the conference and just dropped 31 on Georgia in Athens. – Tennessee and Alabama have dramatically come back down to earth in this graphic. – Starting to see true tiers start to take form. Texas up top, then Tennessee, Alabama, Ole Miss in the next tier and Georgia, LSU, and Missouri shortly behind. …

  21. Due to Quinn's abysmal performance Saturday, do you think Sark did not play Arch at the end of the game for fear he would "light it up" and create aQB controversy?
