That is generally a way of saying he's pricing himself out of the market value we place on him as an unproven freshman.

Had the same experience with him. I went to his introductory celebration in Austin, and they were running late getting him to the Palmer Event Center. I decided to step outside to satisfy my tobacco habit, and in walked David McWilliams (who I knew) and Coach Brown. He asked my name, and whether I could punt. Fast forward 10 or so years and I ran into him again. He remembered my name and that conversation about punting and he asked if I still had eligibility. I haven't met anyone before or since that had that unique ability to remember faces/names and the grace to joke about things that make someone like me smile a little wider.

I couldn’t hear the whole conversation, but his mom kept telling him he needs to sleep on his decision.
