Report is the Aggies tried out new speakers on the sidelines during the New Mexico State Game that are meant for Texas so they can pump in extra noise. Do you think it’s dirty pool or justifiable gamesmanship?

Anyone have an extra 2 tickets or a pair that aren’t being used tomorrow? I don’t like paying the fees online, but that might be my only option.

If Texas were to roll the pocket left or right allowing an extra half second would that be enough for the defense to declare and the QB enough time to read the d?

I’m curious who everyone is rooting for in this game. A loss would likely knock Ole Miss out of the SECCG/playoff, which would be great because they’re a terrible matchup for Texas. On the other hand, we’re all of a sudden in a recruiting war with Florida, and a big win for them could lock up Charles and give them momentum with Ffrench and Wiley. I’m torn.

We have temporarily been forced to move to a subscription-posting model because of all the spam hitting the board the last couple of days. That should curb the spam completely. Thanks for understanding.

The narrative these guys are pushing is asinine. Maybe not all of them, but many, including Klatt who I think is great, continue this narrative about Indiana. “It’s all about brand”. “If Alabama had the same resume as Indiana we wouldn’t be talking about them”. ”what about Texas? They are the same”. uh, no they aren’t. And it’s not even close. Just comparing Texas to Indiana - texas SOS is 35 and stands to go up these next two games. Indiana is 106. record of opponents played is roughly 53-47 to 39-63. (Just quickly did in my head could be off by a couple). I don’t know if Ohio st blasts IU this Saturday or not, but if they d…

Have we given enough credit to the previous coaches for the recruits they left in the cupboard? Collins Sweat Murphy Broughton for example.

Texas will host 2026 four-star linebacker Anthony Davis Jr. out of Grayson High School in Georgia. Davis is a national top-250 prospect in the 2026 class and currently holds 33 offers so far in his recruitment. The Longhorns got involved officially in this recruitment on July 23 when they offered the talented linebacker. At 6-foot-2-inches and 200 pounds, Davis has a solid frame that is built to add good weight at the next level. Davis is on the same Grayson HS team as 2025 target Joseph Mbatchou, and five-star 2026 LB Tyler Atkinson, among many other high-level division one prospects.

I don’t think that provides any room for any teams to have byes. No bye = zero incentive for conference championships. The incentive for conference championships is already a point of debate with the 12 team CFP. I like the idea of having 14 teams with Top 2 getting byes or, at max, 15 teams with the top team getting the only bye.

Sark must have not felt very confident in flipping Keelon, or just really really likes Lacey that much, cause its hard to not wonder why we didn't go harder after Keelon with how insane his senior season has been and how much he has rose in the recruiting rankings. Hope we don't look back on it and wonder what the thought process was.

If CJ still hasn't seen this film, I don't know that to say. This along with Lonesome Dove are musts for Texans with nuts. It's not even negotiable. Most watched films ever for Texans. Four Academy awards, including Best Picture.

I know Bobby will like this. Chris Simms appears to have completely embraced being a Longhorn again with the way he talks about Texas. It warms my heart.
