Sean Miller Horns Down
I’ve always thought the Horns down should mean the bull is charging at you and ready to attack. Should just change the meaning to reflect that

Thinking Out Loud After Weekend 1 of Portal Pandemonium
Great Take CJ! I think of it in baseball terms. The Yankees are “aggressive” but the Dodgers are “all in.” 4 MVPs on their 2024 WS team. Went out and still signed the top players in FA and won the 2025 WS. Doing the same for 2026. I think they realize what the window looks like with Ohtani and how the money spent makes itself back through all the publicity and marketing. We can and should do the same with this years Longhorn Team. And I guess at RB another thing to remember is to look at Jabbar Juluke’s players coached. Trevor Etienne and Baugh were both 3 star recruits according to 247. Hope to land a big starting back but If we don’t get a dawg at RB2, I have a good feeling about what coach Juluke can do with the guys on campus.

Japanese Pitcher Coming to a U.S. University
From what I understand, Japan has special rules set in place with MLB so their NPB talent pool isn’t drained too fast. The MLB Draft can only draft from US, US Territories and Canada. I was wondering why he isn’t considered an International free agent (like signing a player from the DR). But apparently in order to become an international free agent in Japan, they must first be NPB players for 9 years OR they can request to be posted by their team. From MLB Website: “Players that accrue nine years of service time in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball or the Korea Baseball Organization are considered free agents. Such players are eligible to pursue opportunities in any league, including Major League Baseball, without being subjected to the Korean or Japanese posting systems.”

Japanese Pitcher Coming to a U.S. University
Found this really interesting! This doesn’t happen often, if ever. Still super early as he wouldn’t play until the 2027 College Season but usually Japanese players play in Nippon Professional Baseball (Japan’s MLB) before asking to be posted to MLB. If his plans go through, this would be a fun recruitment to watch. A year at a US college would make him eligible for the MLB draft without NPB. It should be noted that he can be drafted to NPB in 2026 so I wonder if a college NIL offer would need to rival a NPB Contract. Either way it will probably bring huge fanfare/revenue to whatever University he chooses.

Sherrone Moore Fired
Out of all the openings this season, where does Michigan rank? Going to be really interesting what they do. No way they promote from within for a second straight time right?
