Just got done talking with a sooner fan who said that he was going to go to the playoff game until he looked at ticket prices...he said they are $200+ for nosebleed and "thats just too much to see them" I'm not here to downplay any financial struggles, but if Texas was in the playoffs and tickets were $250! Im selling plasma to get me there if I have to!! All this to say; I just dont feel like sooner fans are all in. p.s. why do you hate the sooners?

According to Brandon Marcello of CBS Sports, the first Michigan opt-outs have come in. EDGE Derrick Moore – 440 snaps in 2025, 11 sacks, 41 pressures LB Jaishawn Barham – 375 snaps, 21 pressures, 3 sacks OG Giovanni El-Hadi – 537 snaps in nine starts... started in 2024 as well. Allowed just 2 sacks this season.

It seems clear to me what the plan on defense is: - Aggression, energy, effort; - Man Coverage that ties well with the aggresive fronts. But what is the plan going to be on offense? Does Sark want to go back to the original plan at the start of the season (a lot of 12 personell, heavy run game up the middle tied up with play action, lot of 7 step drop PA concepts with Arch snapping the ball under center) or stick with the thing that seemingly worked really well for Arch (spread offense, get it out quick most of the time, lot of straight dropbacks with bunch formations, etc...)? Is it me or does 6-7 guys playing guard seem kind of tall? I just think you need a more low center of gravity guy, 6-3 to 6-4, maybe 6-5 max, 330# wide body road grader. Yes 6-7 guys with long arms all day at tackles.

Texas Offers 2027 LB Kareem Palmer *** Kareem Palmer, a 2027 linebacker from Toombs County (GA), has officially received an offer from The University of Texas. Palmer shared the news on twitter Sunday afternoon, after a positive conversation with the Texas coaching staff. The original tweet also tags Texas linebackers coach Johnny Nansen as well. Palmer. a 6-foot-2-inch, 215-pound linebacker, holds nine offers at the moment, including Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Florida, Missouri, Nebraska and a couple of others.

Seems to me the only reason Texas should play big non-conference games is if they received special revenue for it. I never understood a conference getting member media rights for non-conf games. Let each school make their own deals for those games. That way schools could have a reason to schedule big games. Why should Vandy or South Carolina or Arkansas, for instance, benefit from Texas playing Buckeyes or Wolverines or Irish or Trojans or Nittany Lions?

Saw a report on X talking about how Florida is closing in on their new RB coach and that Ra'Shaad Samples is trending for that position (he would be Co-OC). Will be interesting to see what would come of that with us going after Baugh. I will say, I'm hoping this means Samples stops poaching talent here in Texas as much as he does, since he would be in Florida.

For me, it is the guys who spend too much time promoting themselves on social media.
