On Monday afternoon Rodney Terry and Co. received a commitment from 2024 prospect Jamie Vinson. The 6-foot-9, 210-pound power forward was a Vanderbilt signee, before asking out of his LOI due to Jerry Stackhouse being fired. Originally from Austin, Vinson attended Oak Hill Academy in Virginia during his final years of high school. Vinson is ranked a three-star prospect by all the major recruiting services. He also held offers from Kentucky, Texas Tech, South Carolina, Cal, Rutgers, Ole Miss and more.
