Yes I know boo IT but interesting chart here. Texas has good depth across the board except IOL. Expect a lot of the guys with 2 years left to leave for the draft but lots of talent behind them that’s being developed. LB and WR will need a good 2027 portal haul once again

…love it Gerry. To the guy accusing the guys of lieing or being dishonest about the OL recruiting and TP, really, are you serious? The guys are on air passing along facts that they have verified, and giving their opinions, THAT’S IT!!! What incentive do they have to lie or be dishonest about anything? But I’m with Gerry, Take the Train!!!

Has any coach since Sark coming to Austin underperformed more and continued to stay? We had the Pancake Factory that was the only result in us getting the only good OL haul that still couldn’t really run block. We just missed out on a year with Arch purely because of the oline. Biggest portal need? Oline. Everyone talked all year how interior OL will be easy to come by in the portal. Here we are with absolutely no viable picture next year at interior OL, even Vogel said it. The most needed position got graded a C- by mods here. We run out PK but still employ Flood is something that blows my mind

If you want a good laugh, user thinks Sark is paying 350k-600k for MJ Morris. it blows my mind how uninformed people are on NIL and speak like they are experts.

Are we witnessing the best coaching job in their first 2 years at a school of all time? Especially a school that isn’t known for football…like, at all. I know some people want to say it’s the assistants, but guess what, The Cig hired those guys. He had the wherewithal to know who he needed for the X’s and O’s departments as well as the scouting departments. This dude is a LEGEND!! Side note: With Coogan playing in the last 2 national championships with different teams, does that mean the Center is the actual X-factor that everyone overlooks? No wonder we haven’t won it since 2005!! We haven’t had an ELITE center!! 😂😂😂

AUSTIN, Texas – The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) named Eddie Reese the recipient of its Lifetime Achievement Award on Tuesday afternoon, one of the organization's most prestigious distinctions. Selected by the CSCAA Executive Board, Reese was honored for a career that reshaped collegiate swimming and diving and produced an enduring legacy before his retirement in 2024. Reese, a Florida native and former standout swimmer at the University of Florida, devoted his career to the sport of swimming as both a student-athlete and coach. Hired by Texas in 1978 by Darrell K Royal, Reese went on to build one of the most successful and res…

2026 New Boston RB Ashton Rowden tells OTF that he has been in contact with Texas running back coach Chad Scott recently. Rowden said he is familiar with Scott, and that there was a conversation about a week ago where Texas was checking in on the New Boston four-star back. The 5-foot-11-inch running back holds 24 offers at the moment, and took four official visits in the month of June: May 30: TCU June 6: Texas Tech June 13: Minnesota June 20: Houston As far as I know, there was no visit conversation, but Rowden certainly becomes a name to monitor on the trail.

RB David Segarra III The Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes 2027 RB got a visit from Texas RB's coach Jabbar Juluke last week. Juluke had offered the 5-10, 205-pound back while at Florida. Per Segarra's father (a coach at Byrnes High), Juyluke is working on getting the family on campus to meet with Coach Sarkisian. Segarra is also a varsity letterman in soccer and wrestling. South Carolina, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Miami, FSU, Florida among the early contenders. 2025... 174 carries for 1,460 yards and 17 TD's in 11 games, plus 19 receptions for 198 yards and 4 TD's.

Well here we are at the final game of the season, it did not go the way we all hoped as Texas didn’t make it to the CFP. Let’s enjoy this game! Put your predictions and scores down below or react to plays that happen!

Will we have a Spring Game this year? I need something to look forward to. (It seemed like the reasoning for not having a Spring Game last year was to not have 2nd and 3rd stringers show out and then get offers from other teams trying to fill a need post Spring game.)

I have been struggling to understand/ categorize the Mendoza hype and seeing him when he is interviewed. Coach Ship just called said after the game he goes into "goof mode" and I laughed and could not put it better. In modern internet terms, he has zero aura or rizz.... a very odd duck, indeed. And now he likely will be living in Sin City with the trash franchise of the Raiders.... that will be an interesting sitcom. In other news, I would like to coin his "Heisman moment" (even though it was after he won) as the Divesman. Thank you. i will be here all week

I have a parlay where I risked $400 for a little over 5K. The first couple of legs went as planned, and the last two hurdles are Indiana -7 and a half, as well as the over of 48, I picked the over. Anyone on here have an idea on how I can hedge the best to assure myself something? Should I choose Miami +7.5 and the over or do people here think the under is the play? Any ideas welcome.

Longhorns Sit in Pole Position for 2027 Cornerback **** One of the top defensive backs in the state of Texas made the three hour trip from Garland to Austin on Saturday for the first junior day of the calendar year. Lakeview Centennial's Montre Jackson received a Texas offer on the first week of January and wasted no time getting down to see the Texas staff and the check out the campus. Jackson spoke with reporters following his time on the 40 Acres to recap his visit and to update where things stand with the Longhorns and his recruitment. It was a great day," Jackson said. "I had a great conversation with Coach Sark and finally got to talk with C…

2 questions, 1 thread… Looking for expert insight. 1) Scheme & philosophy: What happened to the “big humans” offensive philosophy? It feels like what we talk about doesn’t match what we actually run on the field. We rarely line up under center, get downhill, and impose physicality. The shotgun-heavy, east–west approach might work against teams like Rice—but elite defenses (UGA, Ohio State) feast on it. Sark’s most effective offenses under Saban leaned on size, power, and wearing defenses down over four quarters. Why has that identity drifted, and is it intentional or personnel-driven? @jeffhowe I know you’re pretty savvy with o-line speak… 2) Ro…

I have honestly never heard of this one, but Rams players were putting cayenne pepper in their socks to fight the cold in Chicago and learned this playing in Green Bay. Former Longhorn Poona Ford apparently showed this off in the locker room and was telling reporters all about their tactics. What a world we live in. Congrats to many standout longhorns in the playoffs like LJ Humphrey, Malcolm Roach, and now Poona "Pepper" Ford.
