Houston Area Corner Reports Texas Offer *** Mark Orphey has returned from the west coast and has joined the Texas contingency in Houston. Following a trip to Cypress Springs, the Longhorns have extended a new offer 2027 Cy Springs CB Kameron Roberson. Roberson is listed at 6–1 and 185 pounds. Over the last week, Roberson earned offers from Iowa, Tulsa, Oregon State, Northwestern, TCU and Vanderbilt. Roberson was a member of the Cy Springs 2025 4x100 state champion relay squad, which included Houston signee Paris Melvin.

We're waiting for the postgame press conference to start after Texas snapped a two-game losing streak with a blowout win over No. 21 Georgia at Moody Center on Saturday, 87-67. Sean Miller's Longhorns are now 12-8 overall and 3-4 in SEC play. Each of those three wins has come against AP Top 25 opponents.

I know CDC is giving his state of the union soon, but I have a few suggestions. I really think we need a women's gymnastics team. It's time. He could time implementation with the new Volleyball facility and the meets can be held there too. Secondly, we need to remodel the McComb's softball stadium. Just a complete do-over. It has those quirky spires and it just doesn't look nice. With our success, we need to be better in that area. Finally, what can be done about the new end zone with preferred seating? It's looks awful during gamedays. Surely, he can figure it out. Those are my two cents. Thoughts?

2027 California WR Receives Visit From Mark Orphey *** Texas corners coach Mark Orphey is on the road in California Monday afternoon. Orphey made a stop in Irvine this morning to meet with 2027 WR Ty Johnson out of Crean Lutheran High. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound receiver currently holds 20 offers and the Longhorns have long been in the hunt here. Johnson attended the Texas-Kentucky game in 2024 at DKR, and has been on campus plenty of times. Before moving moving to the west coast, Johnson attended Lampasas High School about an hour north of Austin. He spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at Lampasas. I don’t know how much longer I’ll stay invested in college football with all the issues and lack of real leadership and accountability. I quit the NFL 5 years ago for other reasons and never looked back and can see myself doing the same with college if things don’t change. Ratings are at all time highs though, so people in charge don’t feel the pressure to make the hard decisions and are content kicking the can down the road. They are looking out for their own interests or whats best for their conference instead of what’s best for the sport. Why should I spend my limited time, focus and money on a sport that takes us for granted?

Saw this today and honestly, I think that man continues to prove he is smart and knows ball. UT above TT, OU, and A&M, BYU at 14.... Just a couple of good points in terms of season ranks. I do question Vandy so low and Iowa so high, but over all a very solid top 10 and good top 25.
