This kind of reminds me of the sand aggy softball players. Look, if you're happy with where you've ended up, good for you. But I'm a firm believer in, if you're truly happy where you're at, you're not thinking about where you left, you're thinking about the future. Otherwise, you wouldn't feel the need to justify yourself. You don't see Cam Coleman posting stuff about Auburn should have paid him, or any of the other players who just transferred to Texas. At least not that I've seen.

Unless they fall off a cliff, softball should definitely be in contention for the post season and a legit chance at the championship. Of all the teams on campus, the probably would have the best odds (outside of Men's Swimming & Diving and Rowing) to play for the ship.

Staying in college also allows them to wait for the ausl to grow and possibly when they go pro the pay is better.

Interesting thing about the new 5 for 5 rule is that some colleges are pulling offers from current commits. Word is that Memphis and Texas Tech has done that already so they can keep their transfers that they paid a ton for. Don’t think Texas has since their recruits are elite tier.

That's all the same coach so technically you can fix it all at once.

Coach White has softball set up to be competing for championships for a while. Expectations have been elevated much like the volleyball team. Hopefully Coach Bates gets Soccer there and with WBB that takes care of the mandatory women's sports for director's cup. The men's side have some catching up to do.

There's not a lot of info on soccer. When you say Coach Bates is cooking, could you provide some insight? Are the recruits top of the class? Status of the team if there's any info. Thanks!

Beachum still in the portal with no home is a bit surprising. Potentially best player still in the portal.

During OU's run of dominance, except for a couple of recruited players, they got the best transfer pitcher almost every year. With public NIL, that run has stopped for now. Jordy Frahm Bahl went home, Karlyn Pickens stayed home, Canady went to Tech, Kavan stayed at Texas, Terry went to Tech, Fischer went to Georgia, etc.

The funny thing is that he wants to make Tech relevant so bad but what he's done has probably set them back worse than when he became rich.
