Sounds like he'll be ready for the Texas game, however. Projected starting running back Chip Trayanum has broken his hand, according to Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio. Jones tweeted out the news Tuesday morning. "Sources tell KSR that UK RB Chip Trayanum has broken his hand and will miss 3-4 weeks and likely 1-2 games," he reported on X. Trayanum was one of several important additions for the Wildcats via the transfer portal, and he was set to be the bell cow ball carrier for the UK offense. Auburn Head Coach Hugh Freeze was talking about practice and recently said the phrase that Texas fans know all too well. "The effort has been great," Freeze said of practice. "It's been a little too chippy and unprotective a couple of days, and I don't know exactly how to balance that." "It scares me to death, truthfully," he admitted. "Because we need to stay healthy, we're not that deep at places.
