Don't remember his effort and work ethic being an issue at Texas Cowboys coaches reportedly have concerns with fifth-round pick RB Jaydon Blue’s work habits Former Cowboys coach Glenn ‘Stretch’ Smith said current coaches have expressed that Blue is “borderline lazy” and that the team is not thrilled with his work habits. In Dane Brugler’s “The Beast” draft guide, he noted Blue’s maturity being a potential issue: “NFL scouts say he may need time to learn what it takes to be a professional.” The Cowboys have high hopes for Blue ahead of his rookie season, but it sounds like he has some off-the-field matters to sort out.

On3 just dropped his NIL value for this upcoming season. Something should be said about Quinn not transferring to another school for a payday. He was loyal to us. Almost to a fault. We should respect Quinn for what he did.

On Texas Football coverage of SEC Media Days is brought to you by Vonlane, Flat Creek Estate Winery, Advanced Pain Care and South Point Dodge. *** ATLANTA — The palpable buzz Texas created at SEC Media Days on Tuesday doesn’t guarantee anything regarding the outcome of the 2025 season. Still, coach Steve Sarkisian, quarterback Arch Manning and the Longhorns dominated the conversation before, during and after they made their way through the College Football Hall of Fame. The Texas hype reached a fever pitch before OTF 5-star linebacker Tyler Atkinson (Loganville, Ga./Grayson) went live on ESPN and committed to Texas on the “Pat McAfee Show." James Johns…

Hey Longhorn family, UT alum here (Class of 2011), born and raised in California, and I’ve got an honest question: Why is Texas A&M considered one of our main rivals? I’m not trying to start a fight—genuinely asking. Because when I look at what usually fuels a real rivalry, it comes down to some combination of envy driven by: Football success Academic standing Location appeal A true rivalry needs some give-and-take—each school should be able to claim superiority in at least one area. When one school checks every box, it starts to feel less like a rivalry and more like a one-sided plea for attention. …

First post on this website. Loooong time participant on another site. I'll do both, but just love Bobby and Gerry on Youtube and think the world of them. Coffee and Football. Mustard and Biscuits. Anyway, Rece Davis asked Sark for a player on his roster who is not a household name, but who will become one - Sark named Maraad Watson. Anyone who thinks we have a problem at DT is wrong. Texas discussion in earnest begins around the 30 min mark

Sorry to ask what I am sure is a dumb question, but how does one change their profile picture? Is there some kind of file size requirement to do so?

On Texas Football coverage of SEC Media Days is brought to you by Vonlane, Flat Creek Estate Winery, Advanced Pain Care and South Point Dodge. *** Texas continues to make a dent in the heart of the SEC with its recruiting push. Tuesday being a prime example of just that. Adding prospects from Florida and Georgia continue the trend of the national approach Steve Sarkisian and his staff have taken on the recruiting trail. The current class sits at 20 commits after the Tuesday explosion. And it is possible the Longhorns reach that 21 number our @Bobby Burton has been alluding to by the weekend. Among those 20 commits, there are eight states representing h…

I wouldn't normally post this, but I found it wild. Played through a freshman year Road to Glory and after Arch won the natty while I took a redshirt year, in the off-season, Sark left for Michigan, and lane kidfin became the coach. Wow. Go home EA, you are drunk!

The panel on SEC Network questions Texas' toughness in the trenches, and the overall toughness of the program. Says we look pretty, but they don't think we have a good foundation. It was a bit insulting, but man, Sark can use that kind of talk to send a message to his team.

Texas is building a juggernaut of elite players. Sark's targeting of which players to go all in on this year reflects the balance of elite players at each position. Since 2023, when considering elite top 50 recruits plus recruits that have been better than advertised / developed plus elite transfers: QB - Arch Manning, Dia Bell RB - CJ Baxter, (could be adding one in 2026 soon) WR - Deandre Moore, Ryan Wingo, Kaliq Lockett TE - Jack Endries OL - Trevor Goosby, Brandon Baker, (Nick Brooks on fasttrack), John Turntine DL - Colin Simmons, Justus Terry, Lance Jackson, Richard Wesley, James Johnson LB - Trey Moore, Anthony Hill, Brad Spenc…
