  3. Hi Everyone, Been here since the beginning, but I've never posted. I'm a UT grad and have been working as a teacher for a while. I was accepted to law school and was planning to attend until recent events changed that plan. I'm now left without a position for this year (was making a change with or without law school) and a little lost. Is anyone here willing to speak or possibly know of anyone legitimate job openings? Willing to take whatever advice is offered. Thanks!

You’ll often see recruits say things like “Best in Texas stay in Texas” or the other version of “Best in Texas leave Texas” I think some get carried away with just looking at the composite rankings and going off of that. When actually looking at players from 2022-2024 and what they’ve actually done, I think Texas landed the best player from Texas in each of those 3 years. 2022: Cade Klubnik was the highest ranked recruit in Texas, and you could make the argument he is the best player, especially if he has a big year and becomes a top 5-10 pick. However, at the moment, I think the best player clearly has to be Kelvin Banks. A top 10 pick who was one of …

  5. No one has mastered the difficult process of NIL like Sark and Co. The ability to keep current players happy, signing the best of the best, and not spending frivously on a kid who may not hit the field for three years is exceptional. Sark never misses a beat. His smarts, genuine personality, and hardworking staff are all in synch. He recruits kids who are badasses, yet well spoken, from great families, and who want to be Longhorns! We are now in another golden era of Texas football!!

  9. On Texas Football coverage of SEC Media Days is brought to you by Vonlane, Flat Creek Estate Winery, Advanced Pain Care and South Point Dodge. *** ATLANTA — When SEC Media Days wraps up on Thursday, 48 players representing the conference’s 16 programs will have met the media at the College Football Hall of Fame. The league’s coaches are bringing quarterbacks, wide receivers, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, linebackers and defensive backs with them. Unfortunately, the running back position won’t be represented over the four-day event, however, including Tuesday when Steve Sarkisian, quarterback Arch Manning, linebacker Anthony Hill and safety Michael T…

  12. On Texas Football coverage of SEC Media Days is brought to you by Vonlane, Flat Creek Estate Winery, Advanced Pain Care and South Point Dodge. *** ATLANTA — No matter where his career as a college football coach has taken him, Brian Kelly’s track record of evaluating, recruiting and developing offensive linemen is second to none. After overseeing Jason Kelce’s development from a walk-on linebacker to a likely Pro Football Hall of Fame center during his Cincinnati tenure, Kelly’s time as Notre Dame’s coach (2010-21) was a trench boon for the Fighting Irish. Kelly recruited and coached 11 Notre Dame offensive linemen who were eventually drafted, including fiv…

  13. Texas coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns have a lot of reasons to push their chips to the middle of the table for OTF 5-star running back Derrek Cooper (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Chaminade-Madonna). The need for a running back was a high priority before Ezavier Crowell (Jackson, Ala.) made the call for Alabama in late June on the heels of Carthage’s KJ Edwards committing to Texas A&M. While the cupboard is stocked for the 2025 season, the Longhorns could be without Quintrevion Wisner and CJ Baxter in 2026 if things break the right way for the program’s running back tandem from the 2023 signing class. The 2026 class could be a one-back haul for Texas, which …

Say if we land Cooper, is there going to be another back we add to the class to join Cooper? If so I would like to think they would stay on Edward’s and Crowell right? If not maybe someone new like Savion Hiter?
