I saw Freeman signed, are Moroknek and Dotson, and Boles all expected to as well?

We are getting pillaged

Happens when a teams has good recruits. Good luck to ALL the recruits that go Pro.

Freeman is the one that hurts. That made a dent for sure. The rest are manageable.

Freeman is not only a good hitter but he provides a ton of lineup versatility/flexibility. He can play OF, INF and C if necessary. Those types of  players are hard to find.

Ashton Larson may not provide the same power as Moroknek but Larson was very good as a freshman in the SEC. He was injured for a portion of this season.

Grubbs, Luke Harrison and Riojas are returning.

And some talented freshman pitchers will be here to compete.

Aiden Robbins has been good in the Cape Cod league so far. Hitting around .300 with 4 HR, 6 doubles and a triple.

Larson and Robbins were both selected for the Cape Cod All-Star game (Saturday, July 19th)

It’s the transfers that hurt more than the recruits

Great for X - he is a great kid, my son played baseball with him last 3 years at Prestonwood, the amount of mlb scouts at the games when he pitched was a sight to see. What will be interesting is the 2026 class that Texas has and who actually makes it to campus - between Grady Emerson who is predicted to go 2nd overall, trey rengel and others I can easily 4 2026 kids in Texas class signing in first few rounds - 2025 class is good, but 2026 class is crazy good

Was a matter of when, not if… unfortunately.

Makes me wonder why the staff went after these guys if this is something they already knew.

Anybody heard what Kimble Schuessler is doing?  Is he trying to get on with a team as an undrafted free agent?

Exactly what I was thinking too. Better have a backup plan and I’m sure they do.

Really?  Answer:  Because you guys (and me) would murder them for crappy recruiting.  Let's be clear here.  I am firmly in the "I want it all" bucket!  Alas, things don't work that way.
