We've replenished our stock of OTF gear for this upcoming season. And we've added a couple of different styles as well as updated the Coffee Mug. Hope you there's something you like here. https://shop.ontexasfootball.com/

  3. https://www.reuters.com/sports/rule-changes-approved-2025-college-football-season-2025-08-13/ Most of these, I like. Good tweaks to rules. Will be interesting to see actual enforcement and interpretation of late game theatrics wity players faking injuries to stop click. One rule that surprised me if I read it correctly, I didn’t realize the coach to player helmet communications weren’t in full use during the playoffs last season. Maybe there’s some nuance to that rule change that needs clarity. Ready for Aug 30 to get here. Hook em!! 🧡🤘🏼🐂

  4. We are now 15 days away from kickoff in Columbus for the season opener. Who is your favorite Texas player to wear No. 15? An option today includes…. Hunter Lawrence There are actually THREE 15s on the current roster as well….

  6. This was a fun watch. Gives cool insight to practice and how the scrimmage went down as well.

  7. Just a glimpse of what this young man can bring to the 40 Acres.

  8. So far so good. 1st quarter is over and we are up 24-16. Kyla Oldacre has a slight ankle sprain, so she's out. The new additions to the team look really good. We are playing stout defense. Jordan Lee appears to be the consistent starter who remains on the court at all times. It's a physical game. Hook'em.

  9. We are down to 16 days before the Longhorns open the season against Ohio State. Who is your favorite Texas player to wear No. 16? A lot of options today to choose from and here are a few of those: Arch Manning Michael Taaffe David Thomas Chris Carter Lance Gunn

We have 3 #18s on the roster - LB Liona Lefau, QBs Joe Tatum and Matthew Caldwell. That's gonna get awkward come game day...

  12. This question was posed to Rod, CJ and me on the livestream last night: If you were told Texas was guaranteed to split the following four games (at Ohio State, at Florida, at Georgia and vs. Texas A&M), would you take it right now? I'm assuming in this scenario that the Longhorns win the other eight games on the schedule. That means Texas is guaranteed to end the regular season with a 10-2 record. On one hand, a loss to Ohio State and one conference loss means Texas is likely headed to the SEC title game, probably as the No. 1 seed for the second year in a row. On the other hand, two conference losses, including one to the Aggies in the regular-season finale…

  13. Link to article at bottom of story…. Good morning, and welcome back to The Morning Win. If you're a Texas Longhorns fan, it's more like a great morning. For the first time in school history, your football team is the preseason AP No. 1-ranked team in the country. Life is good for the Longhorns, who continue an upward trend after consecutive trips to the College Football Playoff. And now the Arch Manning era is officially here to push them over the top. Unfortunately for Steve Sarkisian's squad, that reign at the top isn't expected to last very long. In fact, Texas may not make it past the first game with a "1" next to its name. Opening their season on the r…

  15. Great show this morning! Mr. Will Matthews had some incredible words regarding the team and Arch buying in to his process "I'm gonna sit in this oven and cook." Speaking from his own experiences (winning a natty). He went on to say he thinks Arch is "going to cause the other players to gel in a way that they've never seen before." You couldn't ask for a better source if you're wanting to know the heartbeat of the team/locker room. Gave me a bit of the chills listening to Will Matthews this morning!!! STOKED FOR THIS SEASON!!!! Thanks & Hook'em OTF

  16. I think Moore gets the worst of it for the folks still at Michigan. Harbaugh is never going to coach in college again so I don't really care what he gets.

  17. I was doing some research during Coffee and Football this morning and came to the realization that exactly 50% of starting SEC QBs in 2025 are transfers. John Mateer (Washington State - OU) Zach Calzada (A&M/Auburn/Incarnate Word - Kentucky) Jackson Arnold (OU - Auburn) Joey Aguilar (UCLA - Tennessee) Beau Pribula (Penn State -Missouri) Blake Shapen (Baylor - Mississippi State) Diego Pavia (New Mexico State - Vanderbilt) Taylen Green (Boise State - Arkansas) It's also worth mentioning that there are zero third year starters at the position in the SEC this season.

  18. The University has announced season tickets and individual game tickets for all home games at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium are officially sold out through Texas Athletics. The announcement marks the fourth consecutive season that Texas Football has set an all-time season ticket record. 19. SP+ is a tempo- and opponent-adjusted measure of college football efficiency. It is a predictive measure of the most sustainable and predictable aspects of football, not a résumé ranking, and, along those same lines, these projections aren't intended to be a guess at what the AP Top 25 will look like at the end of the year. These are simply early offseason power rankings based on the information we have been able to gather to date. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45966848/college-football-2025-preseason-sp+-rankings

  21. https://apple.news/Azsq1HKHERIuTZuIfL9_Low Seen lots of speculation over past 48 hours. Is there any meat on this bone? Next couple weeks could be telling? If it’s at all suspicious, OU may suspend to avoid retroactive penalties against the team later. if OU doesn’t have Mateer this season due to his own stupidity, BV may as well get his home on the market cuz OU will be on their way to 3 out of season’s below .500.
