Which Longhorns Would Fit the USMNT Starting XI
Tim Ream is Connor Robertson. Old, slow, maybe not exactly as physical as you'd like, you wish you had a better player in that spot, but ultimately a solid player who likely won't lose you the game.

Kyle Flood
What exactly is the point of Kyle Flood if he has no agency and apparently no ability to make decisions regarding any facet of the OL? Follow up question, why has Kyle Flood remained at Texas if his every decision is overruled by Sark? Perhaps Sark will pull a rabbit out of a hat and address LG, but, as things currently stand, they've failed to address an obvious weakness. I think fans can be forgiven for not giving them the benefit of the doubt after last year's OL and believing that one of the true sophomores is the answer there.

Why this is a dangerous new era for a college football program
What is your takeaway from this? If you look at the current roster, the following high school recruits are likely to be drafted from Texas: 2023 Class Arch Manning, Jelani McDonald, Trevor Goosby 2024 Class Colin Simmons, Brandon Baker, Ryan Wingo, Zina Umeozulu (debatable), Alex January, Tyanthony Smith 2025 Class Too early to say, but Littleton, Jackson and Phillips seem like locks. The DL/OL will probably have one or two. Then you supplement with sure fire upperclassman transfers like Cam Coleman, Smothers, Pitt LB who will also be drafted. So, the end result seems like we'll have a similar number of draft picks and thus a similar level of talent. Just getting to it in a different way. In other words, under the current regime you might see Jahdae Barron and Byron Murphy types transfer in as juniors, but the result is somewhat similar.

Daniel Cruz realized he can probably beat out the walk ons for some PT?

Recent Texas departures are a part of college football's volatile roster building process
Jeff, curious if you have any insight into why Goosby is likely to come back, despite being mocked in the first round? A disconnect between draft analysts and the actual feedback he’s getting from NFL teams? It’s just hard to believe he’d come back with a first round grade.

Pending Decision for Texas WR | Tuesday 10:50 a.m.
Highly doubt he gets drafted, does not have elite traits or production. Also can't imagine any decent team would bring him in with the expectation of being the #1. Some of the production piece was not entirely his fault. Happy that he's leaving, as I am confident that Texas can easily replace his production at a lower price.

Reshuffling on the OL (Monday 1:50 p.m.)
The general update if you aggregate the different sites is that his finger got caught in a jersey and that it's a legitimate injury, but won't keep him out of Ohio State. Now feel free to share what you heard from Brady Sarkisian.

Would you take this regular-season outcome for the Longhorns right now?
We would absolutely not be sweating out a playoff spot if we were 10-2 with wins over Ohio State and Florida or Georgia. It would be a mortal lock.

And it's goodbye to A&M
What is an Aaron Thomas? Sounds like a guy who will be watching from his back while Richard Wesley suplexes A&M's JAG transfer QB du jour in 2027.

Personal NFL Draft Position Group Ranks (Draft Day)
Hunter is a far superior WR prospect than Burden, IMO. Surprised you're so high on him, I'd be very surprised if he has a more productive NFL career than Golden.

Defensive Player Availability (Wednesday AM)
Are you suggesting that we should not act excited and gloat about the state of OU's program because they may possess nuclear weapons?
