JSN just signed a 4 yr $168m contract. It wasn’t long ago that it was insane when a QB got to $20m/yr and now WRs are at $40m+/yr while the average man still make something like $60-80,000/yr. Just crazy where some of these sports are headed.

Back when Mack was hired shortly after they went on a barn storming tour of Texas cities. I was at the one in Houston, after his talk to crowd was meeting people. I got in line, got to him, “ Hey Coach Brown, Mike T}%^, nice to meet you, welcome to Texas. I am nothing special, as average Joe as you can get. Fast forward 8-10 years later, they go on another barnstorming tour. Again I go to the one in Houston. I get in line, get to Mack, and before I can say a word, he sticks his hand out and says “hey Mike, how ya doing, thanks for coming”. I kid you not, I was astonished. I think he has a photographic memory.

I know this is a sports site but I also know we are a community as well. I would appreciate prayers for healing for myself and my family today and going forward. My aunt passed away peacefully this morning and is walking with Jesus. A joyous day for her but a sad for us. She was may things to many people but for me she was a mother figure to me for most of my life. While I haven't been on the live streams, chats or posting comments much in the last few months, the videos and updates have been a welcome and pleasant distraction from the reality of being by a loved ones side while watching them slowly passing away. Interesting game today. Ehis Etute, sophomore for the Ducks, is the sister of incoming freshman Joyce Etute, who will be playing power forward for us next year. Amina Muhammad, their post player, was with us for two years before transferring. Katie Fiso is a really good point guard. Everything revolves around her. I will be curious to see who guards her, Rori or Jordan Lee? Hook'em!
