...the girls stay FOUR years! Therefore, we get to know them. We see their progress each year. Obviously, the SEC is loaded, and I watch as many games as possible regardless of the team. I marvel at the talent. It's fun to envision us competing against OU and Chavez, Vandy with Blakes, South Carolina with Mighty Mouse...etc. The great men hoopers are one and done. You can't really be a part of their journey. We have Booker for four years!!! By the time she graduates, we are bonded with her. Do you agree?

We've mentioned him plenty the last few weeks. Today 2027 OL Jackson Cook got an offer from the Longhorns on his visit. OTF expects Cook to lock in a late June OV in the coming days. Exchanged messages with the 4-star RB's father this morning to get his thoughts on the visit. "It went really good," he told OTF. "We had a great conversation with Coach Juluke. Also took a tour of campus. Also it was good seeing the kids practice. "(Texas has) always been at the top of his list. They just reinforced it." Whisenton will OV Texas June 12-14.

Texas will host 2027 Plano West OL Aidan Ray for an unofficial visit on April 9th. The Longhorns have been in contact with the late rising offensive lineman as of late and that they will him to campus for the first time next month. Ray weighed in at 6-feet-5-inches and 301 pounds at the Under Armour Houston camp last weekend. Other spring visits lined up include Western Kentucky, Tulane, Oklahoma State, and Kansas State.

More for the basketball heads here, but if you were anywhere close to DFW last night, I hope you were able to make it to some of the state semifinal games in the metroplex! Duncanville vs North Crowley was a defensive slugfest with a huge shot by North Crowley by a kid who had not played the entire game. Ended on a bit of controversy! And Frisco Heritage pulled off a last second shot to knock off defending state runner up Birdville. Frisco Heritage Cam Lomax with a big time runner to win the game! Lomax scored his 3000th career point in that game. @Gerry Hamilton you would have loved either of these games!
