Here's the press release Texas sent out today: Former Texas Football standout Corby Robertson has been selected as part of the 2026 Southwest Conference Hall of Fame Class, the Texas Sports Hall of Fame announced Wednesday. A native of Houston, Robertson played defensive end and linebacker for Texas from 1966 to 1968, earning All-SWC honors as a defensive end in 1966, and first-team All-America recognition at linebacker in 1967. He served as team co-captain in 1968 when Texas shared the SWC Championship and was recognized with the team sportsmanship award that same year. Over Robertson’s career, UT compiled a 22-9-1 record. If I remember correctly wasn't Jonah the highest rated 5 star in the 2025 recruiting class? He had the shoulder injury in early spring in baseball. Is he cleared to participate in non contact off season work outs? He probably can't lift weight with upper body until cleared. If this guy finally heals he could be the biggest surprise of the defense this year based on his talent. Mods do we have any updates on how he is doing or what he is doing post injury? Any time lines?

Richardson (Texas) OT Jasper Ngokwere will announce a decision on Thursday, June 4th. The finalists are Texas, Northwestern, Texas Tech, and Vanderbilt. He is coming off an OV to Vandy over the weekend. We are not projecting Texas to be the pick, as the Longhorns haven't gone all in here, at least not yet. We believe an OV is possible in the fall if Texas makes a late push.
