AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Longhorns are two wins away from the school’s NCAA-record 39th berth in the College World Series. The Oregon Ducks are the last hurdle between Jim Schossnagle’s team and a trip to Omaha, with the two clubs slated to begin the Austin Super Regional at UFCU Disch-Falk Field on Saturday (7 p.m., ESPN). Ahead of the first game of the best two-out-of-three series between Texas (43-13) and Oregon (43-16), both teams will practice on the Forty Acres and meet with the media on Friday. Watching aggys strategy this year on OL is fascinating. They have the no 1 OT Matthew’s committed. Kennedy brown is also 5 star level. Plus they have Kaeden Scott and DeMarrion Johnson making a total of 4 top 100 recruits regardless of position. Look like they probably won’t get Camara but working hard to also pull in Simeon another borderline 5 star. How much nil can you sink into a position that probably won’t yield a bunch of early starters? Are they going for the best OL recruiting class of all time banner to pair with their 2022 best class of all time one?

So, Texas wins the title, I am excited. My first thought wasn't "Let's watch the celebration." It was, "Where's the Texas Tech press conference?" Last thing for me on Texas Tech WWE drama. The flex wouldn’t be scheduling Texas week 1, and adding to the longhorns possibly playing the toughest schedule in the nation. The flex would be buying out Oregon State, paying Texas to take on Oregon State week 2, and talking The Ohio State University to go play in Lubbock.
