The Dallas Cowboys have hired their next running backs coach... and it is not Tashard Choice. A big win for the Texas Longhorns and Steve Sarkisian who are able to retain one of their top recruiters and position coaches on roster. Choice posted a "Hook 'Em" with his newborn last night on Twitter, which was likely his indication of announcing he would stay in Austin. Regardless, the news has officially broken and the Longhorn RB coach is remaining in Austin.

I just watched an On3 YouTube class of 2025 final five stars video and I was kind of shocked that Justus Terry was not in their top 32. Elijah Barnes got in and Lance Jackson was now in their top 5, but somehow Justus Terry got left completely out of it after he was pretty much the consensus number two DT all cycle behind Elijah Griffin. I know On3 is in the business of selling pageviews, but seeing about 10 new names come out of nowhere AFTER the classes are final is puzzling and I question the validity of their system if they do this after recruiting is over. So many of you have been supportive since Colt’s football accident in November, along with the complications in December, and have asked non stop on how he’s doing. Today we reached a milestone. I posted this in the Alumni game baseball thread but wanted to put it here so everyone that’s been asking could see. November 5, 2024: Today, February 1, 2025: He took the field for the first time since the accident and played the entire game. Quarterbacks seem to be hard to project. Some you think will do will well, don’t. Some you can’t imagine succeeding, are stars and lead teams to championships. I think Quinn Ewers legacy will be a product of the situation in which he gets drafted. I think we also forget that he graduated early from high school and his trajectory and skills can still go up. He has all the physical tools, but he needs his head right. Maybe some of the injuries got him out of sorts, and never let him become consistent? Thoughts?
