Note on Justus Terry OnTexasFootball has learned that 5-star freshman defensive lineman Justus Terry is expected to begin his college career practicing at the “Jack” or strong side defensive end position. Terry is weighing 272-275 pounds currently. He was around 260 pounds when he reported for bowl practices. He will likely transition into a 3/5 over time - likely year two in the program. Those in Austin are extremely high on where Terry is heading into the spring, and will go as a player.

Let's start with tonight in the SEC Vandy (43) @ Florida (5) Vandy is coming off a loss that was so bad that most of the bracketoids who had it 8 going into the weekend dropped it to a play-in game. But those were outlier brackets. They tend to be over-reactive to single games. Even so, Vandy needs to do something at this point to avoid falling out completely, but it has played progressively worse on the road with each game (+8 @ LSU, -9 @ Missouri, -16 @ Alabama, -30 @ OU). I'll focus on games involving teams that don't need extraordinary runs to climb in or fall out of the tournament. But I will note the top of the conference games. Auburn is likely to earn a double bye, but the others are at question. Alabama has the lead on the rest of the pack, but it has 2 games left against Auburn and games against Tennessee and Florida.
