Good morning ladies and gentlemen it’s finally gameday!! Any predictions or anything you’re looking for particularly? I think Texas goes over 50 this game I’m hoping for a 56-10 or 56-17 something along those line. I am really looking at our secondary and edge play this game and hope to see some young bucks get reps today! #Hookem

  3. Lets begin. Which of these is true and which are false? Texas will have 500 plus yards of total offense. Ewers and Manning will each have a passing TD Defense will have 3 sacks Defense will force 3 Turnovers Auburn will be perfect on FG attempts Hook'em

  5. Hey @Gerry Hamilton. New member. I've been listening to the podcasts and youtube lives for a year and finally joined OTF. A question that I have been wondering for a number of years and never had someone with knowledge of Florida to ask about it. I know you lived there for a while and really covered the schools in that area. So, with the big game between Florida and Miami tomorrow, I'm interested in how the rivalries of the 3 big schools are viewed within the state. I assume that UF and FSU is the biggest rivalry. Outside of that, how are the rivalries between UF/Miami and FSU/Miami viewed? What would they compare to? Which is a bigger rivalry? I know that there is…

Who’s watching the OU VS Temple game? Was hoping for an upset but doesn’t appear that will happen, Jackson Arnold looks sharp early

  7. Have a day Dicker the Kicker! The Longhorn Legend found a nice home in Los Angeles last year with the Chargers and now he is there to stay long term. Dicker mentioned to OTF in the summer he and now HC Jim Harbaugh will be having some fun in the weeks leading up to the Texas-Michigan game week two.

  8. Gerry or CJ, I’d love to hear your guys thoughts on 5 star receiver Jerome Myles out of corner canyon Utah. About 2 weeks ago now they played IMG and Myles put on a 3 TD game performance and the Utah public school beat IMG! His original recruitment seemed to be between Utah and ole miss with Utah leading but after that games he’s getting lots of interest from schools like Ohio state and texas A&M, this kid is an athletic monster any chance texas takes a look if French goes a different direction?

  12. I watched the game on DC Texan Live last night, I thought Jonah last TD of the night was his best of 5.

  15. The thought of a Harmon, Booker, and Aaliyah Chavez Big 3 in 2025 has me grinning from ear to ear. Man we gotta hold off Mulkey to get Aaliyah.

  16. As we get closer to the opener against Colorado State, I’m going to post a memorable play of the day that somehow represents that day’s number. Today's play goes back to 2009, when Texas and Texas Tech squared off. The Horns were up in the 4th quarter 24-17 and Texas Tech had hopes of tying it up. Sergio Kindle had other plans, however. Kindle sacked QB Taylor Potts, forcing a fumble which the Longhorns recovered and it eventually lead to another Texas touchdown. The Horns won 34-24.

  17. Not many people saw it, but I posted that TexAgs quote yesterday about dysfunction in the program. It was not meant to offend anyone, and I am glad it was taken down. This site is better than that. There are fake news sites (e.g. Sportskeeda) posting that tweet as real news. Thanks for keeping this site clean OTF family. It reminded me of why I was here.

I just finished watching it. I walked away thinking Stalions seems to be hiding something, strikes me as a smug rule-breaker, and will do anything to protect the University of Michigan. However, I’m not sure Michigan would’ve needed Stalions’ questionable sign-deciphering in order to win the Natty in ‘23. Michigan was a really good team from top to bottom.

  21. He's good for college football IMO https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/41028224/why-lane-kiffin-poised-get-ole-miss-college-football-playoff

  22. Steve Sarkisian in his Thursday Zoom availability said Texas LB Anthony Hill Jr. will be the one wearing the green dot indicating helmet communication with Pete Kwiatkowski and the Texas defensive staff. Not too big of a surprise, but the sophomore backer will be tasked with communication to begin the season.

  23. As we get closer to the opener against Colorado State, I’m going to post a memorable play of the day that somehow represents that day’s number. We’re now three days away from kickoff and today’s play is Quinn Ewers 44 yard touchdown strike to Xavier Worthy last year in Tuscaloosa. It marked the first touchdown of the game and put the Horns up 10-3, before they eventually won 34-24.
