Article in The Athletic "Ranking the 25 best college football games of the 2000s: Where do Texas-USC, Kick Six rank?" by David Ubben. Probably behind a paywall (link here) but sometimes you get a couple free ones each month. Looking at our two main SEC rivals Oklahoma played in two of those games (both in the Top Five). Shed a tear for our friends on the other side of the Red River because they lost both games, but still they made the list. Is this normal? Starting at 1:15:43… When asked, Earley goes into detail on the struggles of one of his batters. Calls him uncomfortable, struggling, talks about his mechanics, says he’s swinging at the wrong pitches and just needs to hit a ball forward to get goin… then goes and speculates on a player’s injury but also he doesn’t know… then calls out a player *by name* saying he was out of position on a rundown play and he didn’t do it the way he’s been taught. With the 12 team CFP scheme (and perhaps 16 in the future) doesn’t this give Notre Dame Football a distinctly easier path to the CFP?? ND determines their own game schedule. This is the only football team allowed to decide who their opponent will be every year. ND will no longer be playing rival USC every year…but will continue to play against weaker rival Stanford every year, for example. I’m not even going to go into ND’s exclusive deal with NBC. I just think ND, by having the ability to give itself a favorable schedule every year, now has an easy path EVERY YEAR because of the 12 team CFP scheme. With our front 7 pass rushing speed, our defense has the potential to be a real game changer in 2025 but this low offensive ranking on ESPN makes me excited to see Arch and the skill positions surprise the nation. We’re young on offense across most positions but have crazy athleticism and upside that should be peaking by Nov as the team gains experience and builds continuity. Hook em!! 🧡🐂🤘🏼

Across the services, I am seeing a lot of people state that Texas leads for both Ojo and Turntine (and Roseborough). Is it likely (won't say possible) Texas could have an OL class with Turntine, Ojo, Roseborough, Robertson, Wright? Or does Ojo/Turtine signing result in the other one going elsewhere? That seems like a better class that 2022. And that leave out Krempin and Aaron Thomas who could have massive upside like a Goosby

Great look for the 2026 Texas commit. Bell looked good throwing the ball at the Elite 11 earlier this year, but most of that came from stationary dropbacks. Obviously this workout is a bit more intense with a focus on individual leg strength, something that Bell is working to improve on after recovering from injury last year
