Holy Bevo, those computer nerds generating the FPI at ESPN surely do love themselves some Texas football (and SEC in general). The 2025 FPI projections dropped today and it's a Longhorn fan's wet dream. Texas Longhorns are ranked # 1 with a 22.2% chance of winning the championship. Georgia # 2, Bama # 4. Whatever happened to Clemson and Penn State, one might ask? It gets better, believe it or not. Best offense? Texas, followed by Georgia and Bama. Best defense? You know by now - Texas, followed by Georgia and Bama. Somehow I think this might be skewed just slightly towards the SEC. Finally, "Most anticipated games of 2025 based on projected FPI rating…

I just can’t stand to look at the last thread for Texas baseball for the year being titled “Texas baseball sucks”. I’ve had my frustrations too after a lack luster end of the season since A&M, but that was only because they played so well for the first 2/3 of the schedule. They reset the expectations before injuries and some hitting slumps derailed them. Overall, they beat down and swept most of their SEC competition, won an SEC championship (all but securing a Directors cup), and won both series against our rivals (Aggies, Sooners, still suck). Texas baseball is on the right track, let’s get these signees to campus and climb over this hump. Thank you Texas basebal…

I’ve watch Texas baseball for decades and was a season ticket holder for several seasons. Plus I coached pitchers. This is the worst season for hit batters I have ever seen. There is no excuse for this and is a pitching coach issue.

Can't sleep much after the game last night. Although this was such a disappointing way to end the season and the past couple of weeks have been frustrating to say the least, I am still proud of the guys for doing what they did in the regular season. This year was supposed to be a rebuild year and we were supposed to a middle-of-the-pack SEC team and probably end up a 2/3 seed in someone's regional. This team ended up exceeding pre season expectations and went on an amazing run for most of the season and brought us a regular season SEC title. Y'all can disagree with me if y'all want, but I think with how much emotion there was in the A&M series, that series alone…
