Thank you Texas Baseball for an exciting season!

Featured Replies

I just can’t stand to look at the last thread for Texas baseball for the year being titled “Texas baseball sucks”.  I’ve had my frustrations too after a lack luster end of the season since A&M, but that was only because they played so well for the first 2/3 of the schedule.  They reset the expectations before injuries and some hitting slumps derailed them. Overall, they beat down and swept most of their SEC competition, won an SEC championship (all but securing a Directors cup), and won both series against our rivals (Aggies, Sooners, still suck). Texas baseball is on the right track, let’s get these signees to campus and climb over this hump.  Thank you Texas baseball for an awesome season.  And with all the Latin influence on the roster, I think we went from having the “Hispanic Titanic” (one ship years ago), to having the “Spanish Armada” , Galvan, Flores x2, Mendoza, and Rodriguez.  We appreciate you guys.  Hook’em

Agree with you 💯Austalgia! It was a tremendous season with too many highlights to recount. Rough weekend at the end, but it’s time to flush it and look forward to next season with Schloss’ first true roster.

The season was far better than anticipated.   If the team was competitive in their first season in the SEC, I’d take it.  Disappointing end, but this team wasn’t going to make the CWS the way they played as the season ended.

Like the title to this thread much better ! No one expected Texas to win the SEC first year in. Exciting year with a tough finish. Looking forward to next year with this staff having there feet under them. 🤘🏻

I believe the future is very bright for Texas baseball and overall this was a great regular season albeit a disappointing ending. Trust in the coaching staff and the culture. Hook Em!
