Ground ball up the middle by Belyeu after Galvan singles through the left side. Galvan is retired at second base, but Belyeu reaches on the fielder's choice. It's first and third with one out for Schuessler.

The call is overturned. It's a strikeout by Rodriguez. The Longhorns leave two on base in the top of the first.

For anyone just following the game on this thread, Rodriguez swung through a pitch that hit him in the thigh.

Yes. It's a dead ball when it hits the batter, even on a wild pitch. If he had just swung through, the run would've counted and Texas would still be batting with the lead.

My point is he whiffed on a ball that ended up so far out of the zone it actually hit him in the thigh.

Did I look at it right? This Brown has a. eRA of 7.80?
