CJ Vogel

Hope it gives him more confidence in the outfield. He wasn't exactly Kevin Kiermaier back there this year.

Great to see this after two years cut short due to ACL injuries. Hope to see J Brooks succeed this year!

Scheme works great against Elko. He's had no answer on the ground. I think the indiviudal talent showed vs. OU in 2025 on two runs specifically. Texas didn't have much success outside of that.

About that... lol

Glad you’re aboard the OTF train! Right in time for fall camp

The hope is it definitely changes at the quarterback position. If everything goes well, Arch Manning is QB1 in the conference. I could definitely see Tennessee RB DeSean Bishop putting up major numbers in that offense to get into the conversation at the end of the season.

Was tough not including Jelani McDonald given the expectations around the program for him, but Bolden and Hubbard definitely deserve the 1st team mention.

Thank you my friends. @Joe Zura @Bunk Moreland

The All-SEC teams will release here shortly, but wanted to display the ballot I submitted this weekend in Tampa. Feel free to ask me about selections, or just let me know if you disagree!

Disgusting!

Besides the point, but the Big 12 said "bring the whole team!" lol

Good question. Will dig, but I don't think it changes a ton. It allows Meredith to leave a year earlier, so perhaps the calculus does change in that regard.

#1 ranked Marcus Spears Jr. in basketball #1 ranked Audrey Derivaux in swimming Now Camille Presley in volleyball. Texas knows what they are doing with this reclass deal.

What one question would you have for Steve Sarkisian? What question would you have Arch Manning, Colin Simmons or Trevor Goosby?

Sarkisian on Bishop: “So for this summer, he's been working at DB. He's been learning our scheme. He's been learning the fundamentals and techniques. And then when we go back to fall camp, he'll go back to wide receiver again, with the notion of knowing, hey, if emergency strikes, here's a guy who already knows our scheme, and he can go over there and play on defense.“

Sark says Seymore’s body has changed since arriving at the beginning of June. Quick work by the strength staff.

I would be shocked if he’s not your LG week one.

We’ll see. Hands need to be more consistent from the spring.

You’re not wrong

Reporting live from Hattricks in Tampa, preparing for SEC Media Days this week. Wanted to share this nugget which builds off of @Bobby Burton report from last week. The topic of who was the fastest player on the Texas offense for the upcoming season was brought up. I was expecting a drawn out thought process given some of the options available. But the response came relatively quickly. The answer? Freshman WR Kohen Brown.

Vamos

Good stuff! Thanks for the thread @TexTheHorn24

Probably Missouri in the Big 12. Is Tennessee better than two of Miami, SMU, Clemson, NC State or Louisville? If so, then yes.

I am definitely expecting Ole Miss to end higher in these rankings IF Chambliss can repeat his magic. But he certainly holds the nod over Marcel Reed imo
