Completely agree. Should be plenty of options for Texas this fall.

I like the pick. Should have been a freshman All-American.

Regardless, a very talented group to work with. Add former five-stars: Brandon Baker (composite) Jermaine Bishop Jr. (247) Xavier Filsaime (composite) Jonah Williams (composite) Kade Phillips (composite) Tyler Atkinson (composite) Kaliq Lockett (composite)

Which Longhorns Join an All-Conference Team in 2026? *** I was going through reasons for optimism with this Texas roster and came across the conversation of All-Conference level players. Based off of just the 2025 seasons, this is what the 2026 roster shakes out when it comes to players who received All-Conference honors. Consider this, but also include the likes of Arch Manning, Cam Coleman, Emmett Mosley V, Jelani McDonald, Hero Kanu, Melvin Siani, Ian Geffrard and Brad Spence are all set to fill out the roster. So I pose this question: Which Longhorn, who has not received an previous All-Conference honors, is most likely to be listed on the All-SEC roster by year's end? Arch Manning and Cam Coleman probably lead the way. Any bites on a Kade Phillips? What about a Melvin Siani? Let me know what you think.

Lol, that was my takeaway !

Whoops!

Think you're going to end up being correct. I like it.

Watched the MSST game, but not Tech. Would imagine there wasn't much success against Tech given how talented that front seven was. vs. MSST, ASU had most of their success in gap running. They couldn't do anything consistently in zone schemes.

A strong running game will also make the play action pass more explosive as well. Get the entire offense clicking, and look out!

I was surprised not to see Leavitt. But I guess it really shouldn't be a huge surprise.

The SEC has released the Media Days attendees for the 16 representative schools. If the Texas offensive line can find the second level of the defense often – Seymore-Robertson-Baker – then Brown is going to have a really successful season.

Raleek Brown in the Big 12 last year had the – 2nd most missed tackles forced (55) 2nd most runs of 10+ yards (31) Longest rush of any RB in the conference (88 yards) Most targets of any RB (46) Most snaps where he ran a route (273... 56 more than any other back)

Get to the second level and let the speed and instincts take over. Not sure how often Brown will be able to make this right turn in the SEC, but it showcases his speed and agility pretty well on this run

Sometimes it’s up to the running back to make the offensive line right, and that includes improvising. See a gap and go, that’s what Brown does here hitting the front side of this zone look.

One of Tre Wisner’s best traits was his patience behind the line of scrimmage. Brown shows that off here to let the hole develop and then, poof, gone.

Jaydon Blue made a ton of money on wheel routes while at Texas. Remember, that was the only way Texas found the end zone against Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl — and they did it twice. Brown will fit this role perfectly.

Outside zone look. Brown trusts the concept and finds a sliver between four blockers and explodes for a massive gain. This is not an easy gap to find

Taking a Look at Raleek Brown's Fit in the Texas Offense *** I can't help but get excited for what's to come with new Texas running back Raleek Brown. Brown is coming off of a 1st Team All-Big 12 season at Arizona State where he rushed for 1,141 yards on 6.1 yards an attempts and 4 touchdowns. The touchdown numbers should improve in this Texas offense, but beyond anything else, it is the home run ability that intrigues me the most. Brown has a fantastic ability to get small in the hole, then make the first guy miss in space. -- I wanted to share some All 22 clips from the 2025 season showcasing Brown's ability at the running back spot, while also giving an idea of how it may translate to the Steve Sarkisian offense in 2026.

I would envision he begins the year hitting 7th or 8th again

Disregard the Big12 logo, I didn't have time to fire up photoshop after our livestream lol

I would fancy it to look like: 1. Linkin Garcia 2. Sawyer Solitaria 3. Anthony Pack Jr. 4. Payton Brennan 5. Ian Armstrong 6. Adrian Rodriguez 7. Ethan Mendoza 8. Casey Borba 9. Trevor Goldenetz

How I envision the lineup to look next spring.

Solid floor for the position. Who knows what Mendoza would have been able to do had he remained fully heathy. Here's to a full recovery and redemption season in 2027.
