Singleton, Hudson, Concepcion are the headliners right now but I feel like this staff is going to wait. Kinda like last year when we passed on Juice Wells' of the world.

I’m interested to see how this staff moves in the portal. They like the deliberate approach in recruiting in general & that has worked for them because some big names tend to enter later. But that will bleed into playoff prep more so this year with the first round being in 2 weeks. So that might require a little more urgency.

Also, you’re trying to win a natty but some players may feel a way if a player is targeted in their position group out of the portal. Just weird times in college football.

I assume MM is going to USC or another west coast team that wants a drop back QB.  He had a good year at Duke and got better during it. Hope he knows whst he is doing and is getting a good QB coach because he is still not a fininshed product.  Duke was a good school from which to have had a degree.  I don't suppose he has one.

Ryan Williams to the portal is the biggest shock of the portal season to me. Why would he leave what seems to be a good situation for him and one he has thrived in. Hopefully he'd like to come play with his HS QB, although he'll likely be gone to the NFL before Lacey becomes the starter.
