Tulane DL Parker Petersen entered the portal.

Really intriguing prospect at 6-4 and 310 pounds.

12 pressures, 3 sacks, 13 run stops in 2024.

This guy and the WKU guy would be 2 good ones to target early...especially if we want to sign 3-4 portal guys

I would not pursue Micah Hudson.  And a reminder, Texas prioritized Wingo over him the first time.

I'm waiting on 3-4 DL names to drop in the portal. If they do, Texas will have serious interest.

  • He will take some time to make a decision. In regards to Texas, I bet they kick the tires, but I don't think if they will go all out for him. Look at who Texas has pursued at WR in the portal und

I know this song and dance is repetitive, but Bear Alexander is one to monitor for Texas.

I like this one.

Ran a 10.32 100m earlier this year. Looked good in the little bit of Ga Tech I watched this year.

This has to be his last dance,  he may really produce big time this year.

This was supposed to be Bears money year. He played in four games, had five tackles, and then quit on his team. I think his head is in his wallet more than it’s in the game. I’m all for aggressively pursuing DL but I’m not sure he’s what we’re looking for.

I don’t know him but from Manor?

USC buddy says he was likely their RB1 next year.

@Gerry Hamilton are the rumors true? Are you hitting the portal to Tex ags? I’m sorry we beat your Aggies but don’t leave 😂😆

They just have better mayo in aggieland. Tough for Austin to compete.

Joyner is from Manor. Really talented back. I don't see Texas having much interest.

Why no interest?  You don't they go RB in portal at all?  Or just looking for different type of guy?

Texas passed on him in high school.
