North Carolina LB Khmori House has entered the portal.

He followed Stephen Belichick from Washington to UNC a year ago and had a big time season. 

Sarkisian mentioned LB in the portal was an option, to what level of player, I don't know. But Texas hosted Khmori House out of HS for an official visit in June of 2023.

I didn’t realize he had been a freshman all-American at UW. Seems like a great stopgap option while Atkinson and Barnes develop.

 

As per normal portal rules: we must get everyone, simply throw a bag, anyone we lose means Sark isn't the guy and doesn't wanna win like (insert team that sent a literal Brinks truck).

This would make a lot of sense to me. Finding a LB to add to the depth while allowing Smith, Lefau, Barnes to take priority snaps until Atkinson is ready to rock larger snap counts.

Doubt we're not going P4 for the IOL.

Interesting alternative option to the UConn LB who went in.  There's a Hawaiian Jr. LB out of Georgetown named GianCarlo Rufo that some sites have listed as expected to portal. 6'2 232 103 tackles 7 TFL 1.5 sacks. Could be a nice value pickup option too.

You’re not wrong, but also unclear what the market is going to look like. 

Would love if we were tampering with Scudero.  Put him in the slot (assuming Moore leaves) and Wingo/Livingston/Mosley on the outside.  

Going after Henry should tell you we are going big at WR. Idk why some here think the WRs are good. They are solid but special. We need to go 2019 LSU level 

We are also going to cut players on the roster FYI. Some of y’all also need to understand it.

App State DL Rondo Porter entered.

He is in for a pretty good pay day. Undersized by Texas' standards at just 6-foot, 295, but really solid player in 2025.

 

Texas recruited him out of high school…2023 - Light on his feet and packs a powerful punch. He moves well and is asked to pull and block in space.

I bet we get in the mix for this one. Don't see Sark overspending since he's basically an older HS prospect without significant college playing time.

He’s been suspended from the team since August.  Higher likelihood he ends up at Last Chance U than Texas.

Unless Sark wants the DT version of Agiye Hall.
