Josh Cameron or Amare Thomas make a lot of sense.  Cameron makes the most sense with how things are going at Baylor.

Cameron won’t come to UT

  • You have my attention. Harkless recorded 3 sacks this season at 6-3, 345.  10 pressures from up the middle would have been tied for 2nd on this year's Texas DL.

  • There are some very firm prerequisites I would have for Texas in regards to portal targets this year: 1. Coming off of season-ending injury? Crossed off the list. 2. I want a seamless positi

  • My thing with A&M flirting with high dollar WR is pretty simple.  Until they get a quarterback that’s able to consistently complete 10 yard passes, none of their moves mean anything to me.

RB- Baugh (if Wisner leaves) or Durham (Durham with Wisner)

WR- Ryan Williams or Nick Marsh or Cam Coleman

OL- Midwest corn fed white boys

DL - likely good

LB- Experienced depth

DB- Depth

I did hear Oklahoma as someone to watch for North Carolina LB Khmori House.

Can we get Mack Brown to pull him this way?

I'm not too worried, have a feeling there will be plenty of LB's to pick from this portal window.

I hope we take a serious shot at the LB GianCarlo Rufo out of Georgetown. One year guy that gets downhill in a hurry.

The OT out of UConn, Ben Murawski, is interesting. 6'7 335lb with starting experience at both LT and LG. One year guy.

6'7 you say? Lol. But seriously, if he has starting experience at both, that is a huge plus. I'm certain the staff would take a look at that guy.

Rufo looks pretty good, good size and ability. Would be a veteran presence.

Another thing on Rufo I'm seeing, is he is fast for a LB that size, covers TE's really well. Something we struggled to do this year.

Texas has really only lost to UGA Ohio state and this hiccup Florida team since joining the sec? Plz get me some trench monsters. Clearly that’s the last step sark needs to take? Looking back at those losses, the clear reason we lost, out played physically. The answers r there I feel like.

I’d agree with @TexasFanatic

Dont think you need an all conference level guy at linebacker, but certainly not a developmental piece.

Kentucky LB Landyn Watson fits what I would target right now. Just someone who can give you 10-20 quality snaps and could step in as a starter should someone go down. I’m looking for a David Gbenda level role to be filled at LB out of the portal.

It's almost like we need a Derrion Guillette

Please elaborate

Walk-on to Baylor. Wasn’t even offered PWO to Texas even after his performance in the state finals. Similar to Taffe. His brother graduated Baylor. Has a little bad taste in his mouth for Texas. He is playing in the Senior Bowl.

We good on Ryan Williams. Can’t catch a cold.
