I never believed I would see the Big brands in College athletics place an Advertisement on their uniforms. Did you? I guess I'm just old school. Notre Dame , I see is the last to bow to the almighty dollar. After Ohio State placed a Chase Bank logo on the Iconic jersey, now the Irish have jumped in to receive Cash from SOFI. Please place others you have heard about below or others that the Aggies and Sooners should consider below.

Texas has landed a really intriguing addition in the portal with Campbell outfielder Carlos Lugo. Lugo put together an outstanding true freshman season in 2026, earning First Team All-CAA and CAA All-Rookie Team honors after hitting .347 with a team-high 77 hits. He started 54 games, posted 25 multi-hit games, drew 32 walks, and put together a 15-game hitting streak during the season. He also earned CAA Rookie of the Week honors four different times. Lugo isn’t just an outfielder, either. He made eight relief appearances on the mound, posting a 3.48 ERA with 12 strikeouts in 10.1 innings and recording his first career save late in the season. Coming ou…

Tre Wisner was fine and is fine. I feel his demise at Texas was the lack of a 2nd RB that was also a threat. He was not a "problem" when Blue was part of the duo. All of Sark's RB's at Texas have had a duo system, and I feel Wisner was a victim of missing that last year...along with the OL trouble...along with some playcalling. I like the 2 RB's we got (esp Smothers imo) but feel like Wisner could have had a impact as well. Was the NIL asking price that far off?

Our countdown to kickoff rolls on with No. 38, a jersey worn by a pair of standout Texas linebackers from different eras. Glen Gaspard (1971–73) was one of the anchors of Darrell Royal’s defense, earning first-team All-Southwest Conference honors twice while leading Texas with 110 tackles in 1972. He helped the Longhorns capture three straight SWC championships, played in three consecutive Cotton Bowls, handled kicking duties early in his career, and was later selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the 1974 NFL Draft. Roddrick Muckelroy (2006–09) became one of the leaders of Mack Brown’s defense, finishing with 291 career tackles, 24 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks,…

asked if this was ok the other day and Blake said go for it. Bobby reminded the community that while this type of post is allowed, caveat empour and all that. i have way too many shoes including Nike x Texas shoes. For those of you getting up there in age - get rid of your stuff so your kids don’t have to do it for you someday. We downsized houses last year and this is my 2nd full time job now lol. 2 pairs of size 11.0: (first pic) new, no box Nike Free Trainer 5.0 V6 amp. 723939-800. Never worn. $110 MSRP used, no box Nike Free Trainer 5.0 TB 644676-810. Lightly worn - more than anything, stored in a box poorly and the upper collar is a bit deformed. …

Why do you think Sark made a change at DC? Maybe Sark gave a specific answer and I just missed it If it was just frustration and just a feeling that he could do better than the bend be and not break defense of Coach K, after watching the replays of last season, especially the last quarter of the Vanderbilt game, I can see why. However, there is an argument his inconsistent offense was a lot of the problem with these right games and the 3 losses. Why do you think he ignored that side of the ball except for the turnover of personnel?

Steve Sarkisian often touts how much he loves the pageantry of college football. The best example supporting Sarkisian’s position is how seriously the Texas head coach takes the program’s rivalry games. For Sarkisian, it’s not just another game whenever the Longhorns line up against Oklahoma or Texas A&M. At SEC Media Days in Tampa, Sarkisian didn’t mince words when he was asked what it’ll be like to face former Texas wideout Parker Livingstone whenever the Longhorns and Sooners meet in Dallas on Oct. 10. At the end of the day, Sarkisian said, personal feelings get put to the side when the Golden Hat is on the line. “I hope we kick his ass,” Sarkis…

The countdown rolls on with 39 days until kickoff, and today's spotlight belongs to three Longhorns who each left their mark wearing No. 39. Brian Robison (DE, 2002–06) headlines the group after helping lead Texas to the 2005 national championship. Robison started 36 games, totaled 181 tackles, 42 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, and blocked six kicks (second-most in school history). He went on to play 11 NFL seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and was inducted into the Texas Athletics Hall of Honor in 2019. Jud Atchison (HB, 1935–37) was one of the top all-around athletes of his era. A dangerous runner and return man, Atchison later became a two-time track All-Americ…

That shark story was amazing! I would have freaked out if a 7 foot shark is trying to rob my fish. Coach is humble and a treasure among our coaches! I think he feels great about his team.
